[ ] I don't think the hotel is Ada accessible until the front entrance is fixed. The back entrance is just curbs and hard to get suitcases up. [ ] Bedsheets felt like they were made from plastic and woke me up a few times for being too stiff and trapped in heat. [ ] Hallway sound travels into the room. no carpet in rooms so bring a noise machine. [ ] Floors need mopped with clean water, so much dirt. One of their white towels turned brown when I was cleaning up water in front of the sink. They use microfiber mops in the rooms. I think they're not rinsing the chemicals applied with water so the floors get sticky with cleaner. The front entry they used a real mop. I attached a picture of what came off the floor when I wiped up water off the floor in front of the sink. [ ] Tub is too slippery, almost fell. Grab bars are akward locations. One is low and great for using a tub but too low for an average sized adult to grab on. [ ] Windows might open but no screens. [ ] Ants at breakfast and a spider in my room [ ] Breakfast was packed. food was good. Waffle maker fantastic. [ ] Coffee station is nice - so so fancy - but if you want fast drip coffee you have to wait in the line. [ ] Wet paint with no signs [ ] Room's hvac has continuous fan huge benefit. [ ] Mold in the air in thr bathrooms my nose would instantly get triggered walking in there. Nothing visible. Large exhaust idk the problem. [ ] Towel holder in bathroom plus [ ] I do like all the furniture - well thought out for overnight travelers. I never unpack my suitcase and we had plenty of places to set bags suitcases. [ ] No freezer in mini fridge [ ] Parking lot well lit [ ] There is one elevator for the whole building. I haven't had to wait too long to use it but housekeeping runs their carts up and down so it takes time. [ ] Pool was clean but that water was cold. No hot tub. [ ] Outside lounge in back of hotel looks adorable, they have a fire pit. [ ] TV in room is huge. [ ] Lobby looks beautiful but 3 parties checking in at once it felt overcrowded and uncomfortable. The employees all have personalities. Everyone but the front desk worker was incredibly respectful. I'm wondering if I was put off because he had air buds in his ear while checking me in so I felt like I didn't have his attention. Jennifer was warm and welcoming at breakfast. There's a maintenance worker that was painting a hallway and next day was housekeeping - I'm surprised they're that flexible. The employees dropped everything they were doing to answer questions, they helped me navigate my luggage through wet paint and they do seem like the genuinely care about guest satisfaction. So...
Read moreWe were put in the newley renovated rooms and they were super comfy. The Indian guy who checks us in was garbage. He didn’t set the keys up right, so we had to go back and ask him to fix it. He then asked if we used the right key for the door. He was too lazy to write down the wifi password. He was way more interested in his phone. Then we had heat problems. We set the heat up high and came to hang out in the lobby for it to warm up. After an hour we went back up and it was still cold. I came back down to tell the guy, and he did it takes awhile to heat up. So after two hours freezing in our room, we found a handyman guy and he came in to check the heater. He was mad we didn’t bring this to their attention earlier and mumbled something under his breath. I said, we checked in two hours ago and the Indian guy said it would heat up. The guy said there was a massive gap between the heater and the wall. So he did a temporary fix and then we had to layer towels around it to keep the heat in. The night guy and sleep experience get 2/5 because the bed was super comfy. Otherwise it would have only gotten 1.
Breakfast was great and the morning check in lady was awesome! They get 5 stars for...
Read moreThis hotel was recently renovated, and while I don’t know what it was like before, it was very nice for the price. The staff I interacted with were all friendly and attentive. The room was clean, the shower was hot, and the Wi-Fi was pretty good. I wouldn’t say it was fast, but it was fine. The breakfast was very good, and they have a coffee machine that can make regular drip coffee or espresso drinks — steamed milk and all. They also have nachos and soft serve ice cream available, though by the time we got back to the hotel we were too full to try either of them. A few things could be improved, but to me they’re not enough to lower the rating — The beds are really tall… almost unnecessarily so. And the frame of one was super noisy, even just climbing into the bed or a family member rolling over in their sleep made a lot of noise. The water in the swimming pool was quite cold, and it wasn’t just “it takes time to adjust” cold. Also, the shades in the room do block out most of the light, but since they’re not curtains that extend past the window frame, some light from the parking lot still got in at night.
Over all, I was very pleased with the hotel and would definitely...
