READ THIS! I am a six handicap and my daughter plays D1 Golf at Western Illinois University. We played this course On Friday July 5th. I thought there was no way that two or three golfers can leave horrible reviews and then two or three golfers can leave five stars so I took a chance on the course because of its reputation. Shame on me! When you pull into this golf course you get a sense that the property is really amazing. The practice screen was beautiful but a little slow. The driving range is excellent and that’s where the good ends. This course is horrific. Please listen to this because if you spend $75 to play this course, you will be furious! If they gave me two free rounds I would not go back. It is horrible beyond horrible. The superintendent should be fired immediately. They make excuses when you’re done golfing, And say things like “yes, we have not had any rain”. But that is not the problem. The problem is their superintendent has no idea what he’s doing, and the golf course probably gives him no money to spend. They do not water this course, they do not fertilize this course and they do not care for it. The greens are so over seeded and overgrown that I thought they were bentgrass! Not only are the fairways horrible, but there were holes in the middle of the green so that you have to move your ball several feet to avoid. There are hazards next to the greens that are so horrible that you can actually get seriously injured on. Please see the photo. This course should be closed. It is horrifically bad! And any good review you have read about this courses is fake I don’t care if it says “verified purchase” or not. This course is horrendous! There are weeds in the middle of some of the green greens. There is no grass in major portions of the fairways and next to many of the greens. Courses in the near vicinity that I would recommend. Celebration golf club is fantastic! Orange County national was also excellent! And of course, any of the Disney courses. If you want to travel a little outside Orlando and save some money but play a beautiful course, You can play blackbear, or royal St. Cloud. Both of those blue this piece of garbage golf course out of the water and they only cost $55 to play. I’m trying to do you a favor, but if you want to listen to the lying reviews, then throw your money away. This is garbage garbage garbage, And it would take five years to get it back in shape.

I cannot recommend Falcon’s Fire and Laura enough! We are so glad we booked this venue. We booked both our rehearsal dinner here the night before our wedding and our entire wedding day. We received the best service throughout the entire planning process and our wedding was INCREDIBLE! Laura was incredibly responsive to every email I sent her, helpful with every little change we wanted to make to the event. We had a couple of meetings throughout the year to discuss details but honestly, we didn’t even need them. Laura had everything handled so perfectly, we didn’t need to lift a finger on our wedding day. She is incredibly organized, confident with leading vendors & guests to where they need to be, and so discreet we hardly saw her all day long. It truly was the best day of our lives and all the thanks can go to Laura! We love her, highly recommend! The bartender on staff for the night was a boss, holding it down all on her own. The wait staff was so on top of things and so sweet. Our guests raved about the food, it was so delicious. The venue itself was also exactly what we needed for our event. It wasn’t too big, since we only had about 70 people, and the newly renovated floors were stunning. The room was decorated by their staff with my provided decor (besides the tables/linens, chairs, and ceiling drapery we ordered) and not one mistake was made. I was so obsessed with how it all turned out. Highly recommend!

The purpose of this is not to call out the course or employees (who knows how the management and rules breaks down) but just to warn golfers in the future so they are aware (I always look at the reviews before golfing somewhere and should have believed the recent review of the pace of play) I would not play here again and instead choose any other course in the area to start the pros: the starter was very nice and even got me two band aids for a blister and was helpful and nice to interact with the beverage girl came by several times and was quick the cons: they checked our cooler and made us take out the alcohol (I've played 30+ municipal/private/pga courses this year in fl and that was the first one to do that, beverage carts are inconsitant w the state of courses now a days so I always bring my own cooler with snacks and drinks. I understand but just a warning for those coming. there was a british employee who came by not once but twice saying our pace of play was too slow, but.... we literally had to wait at least 10 minutes on the tee box to hit because we were waiting on the group in front of us which I could see was waiting on the group in front of them. when he came up to us he could literally physically see how close the group in front of us was and when I tried to explain that he said well no actually you are five minutes behind pace of play. The second time he came by I literally drove nearly to the green while they were still on the green (this is already playing up way too much to an unsafe amount) we would be hitting through them if we hit any sooner. the second time he came around I explained that to him and he seemed to understand but literally just stayed and watched us hit.. it was odd. We have an extremely fast pace of play, but this encouraged unsafe play for no reason, and I could tell the group in front of us felt rushed and were not having fun. -tee boxes had lots of weeds, some sand traps were filled with water some major damages on greens but besides that greens were fairly good, fairways were dried out and dead (prob due to the season, but I have been to many other courses in the area in much better shape this week) -dont touch the rakes! they were so old they gave me fiberglass splinters -there was no employee at cart return to help with bags which you have to carry up stairs to get back to the front

we had previously pulled up here a month ago and I told my fiance it looks a bit run down lets go to celebration instead (which we ended up playing 18 holes twice in a day we liked it so much) we decided to give it a try today and we should have just stuck with celebration. the starter mentioned changes in the future so I hope to see some changes and improvements in the future because it does...

I recently played a round at Falcon’s Fire with high expectations. I had a 7:00 AM tee time and arrived on time, ready to enjoy my morning. However, the experience was marred by disorganization and downright hostile treatment from a Ranger named Tom.

When I checked in with the starter, I was told I was being bumped to a 7:17 time, supposedly due to mowing or pace-of-play concerns. As a single, I was already being paired up, so I politely asked to keep the 7:00 time I had reserved. He agreed — but only if I shared a cart with someone from another group due to a lack of carts. I agreed and even apologized to the person I was paired with for the last-minute cart share, despite it being the facility’s issue.

The round started fine. On the third hole, the two golfers we were paired with told us to go ahead — they suggested it, not us — and we continued as a twosome. I was playing well, one under on the back nine, when Ranger Tom showed up and began yelling at both us and the group behind. He falsely accused us of trying to sneak ahead and said we had “planned this,” which was completely untrue. His tone was aggressive, accusatory, and frankly disrespectful. I told him he was disrupting my round and needed to leave us alone. I was shaken up and no longer comfortable, so I told my playing partner I wanted to leave.

While heading back to the clubhouse, we ran into the original group we were meant to play with. My partner suggested we just rejoin them, and we did. Tom returned again, still yelling, telling us this was now our “only choice.” At this point, it felt like harassment.

I decided to finish the round anyway, but on the 18th green, just as I was lining up a chip shot, a maintenance worker walked directly in front of me, fully in my line of sight, completely oblivious to what I was doing. It was a shocking lack of awareness and added yet another layer of frustration to an already disappointing experience.

Despite all this, I managed to shoot a 79. But I left feeling totally disrespected and unwelcome. This course has great layout and potential, but between the lack of cart availability, mismanagement of pairings, the aggressive behavior of the ranger, and careless actions from maintenance — it’s clear there are serious issues with how guests are treated.

I hope the management addresses this. Golf should be about enjoyment, focus, and respect — not being yelled at mid-round or having your game...
