Holston-Chilhowee Dog Park — Attraction in Knoxville

Large dog run for both big and small dogs. It has dog water fountains, but they weren't working and my dog didn't understand them. We're going to bring our own water next time, but will definitely come back. It's right on the Holston River and there's even a trail down to the water next to the park. My dog and I had a great time. I gave four stars instead of five because there are no shaded areas within the fence and there is a huge field between the park and the river that isn't included in the dog run but certainly could be. I heard about this new dog park from a friend so we came to see it today. It has a side for small dogs under 25 lbs and 13 inches at the shoulder or less and a side for big dogs.
