Santa’s Garden — Attraction in La Habra

We get our tree from Santa’s Garden in Irvine every year! It is a family tradition! We love the quality and beauty of their assortment. This year we got a “Natural” Noble Fir and it is a stunning tree! Beautifully flocked so it looks like a magical forest in our home. I love the selection of trees they offer and they are always so fresh. Jay the owner really makes sure you are happy with your tree. All of the Santa’s helpers know about the trees and the information helped us choose the beautiful “Natural” Noble Fir. Russ helped us when our tree was not straight he came to our home early the next morning and made it perfect! The service is excellent and you feel the passion for the trees they sell. They had nice looking trees, but very pricey and management was rude. After looking around we found a tree we liked and we told the man running the place which one we wanted. When he looked at the tag he tore it off and said it was marked incorrectly and then upped the price by over $50 after the tree had already been marked with a price tag. We said no thanks and started leaving. I thought it best to warn others of what happened. After the manager heard me warn others, he approached my husband and said they would honor the price on the tag. Will not return! You don’t bait and switch after a tag has been clearly put in the tree! Weak, unprofessional move. ...

The person working the lot, along with being fairly inattentive quoted an additional charge of $20 for the bowl and stand on a small 6ft tree. O.k. Fine but when we went to pay, we were charged $30 for what we were told was a medium sized bowl and stand instead of $20. We've had much larger trees in the past with this exact size of bowl and stand so the small, medium, large sized bowls didn't ring true and this was a first! We were also told that a new cut would be made on the trunk of the tree by the same person, which was not in fact done. Unfortunately we got the tree home, set it up, decorated and filled the bowl with water before discovering it. Won't be...
