Java Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Newport Beach

It’s Newport beach, so naturally, it’s a little on the pricey side, but not unreasonable. I went straight fatty today and got a medium Americano, a European bagel, and a flourless chocolate cake, which all totaled up to a little over $22 before I tipped. The bagel is huge, so I only had half of that. I did somehow managed to put away every single crumb from that cake, though.😂 I was a little surprised at how many people were there on a Wednesday morning, but the service was fast. They have a nice outdoor patio dining area, as well as an interesting inside area. We are camping over at Newport Dunes, so this place is just a quick trip from there, but a nice change. Not gonna lie, though. I feel a little out of place each time I go there. Maybe they just prefer their OC types to my IE...
