A pleasant park with a lovely setting alongside the Caloosahatchee River, there's a fair deal of space for a stroll or picnic under the shade of the many live oaks. The park recently added a number of small, clean picnic shelters with gameboard tables for chess, checkers, or lunch and some statues of children that may or may not be too your liking. There is a paucity of playground equipment and the old tennis courts have been removed. Watch for birds like ibis and egrets near the river and its charming lights, benches, and footpaths. Try to remember that even though grey squirrels abound, they do not like you. They're likely to chew you out with a barrage of furious barks. Many of La Belle's larger events and festivals are held here, and its space is generally sufficient for them. The primary shelter is available for rent, I believe, likely through the parks department.

I came yo this family place and end eating the most delicious smoked chicken, there is a small food truck located in this peaceful place, surrounding by nature and a charming river. Jonesez BBQ is not only offerng nice smoked meats, also a delicious spicy sauce and nice sides. One thing I enjoyed was the variety of people buying food, no racist, no hate, talking, sharing and enjoying. I love Fl and this is gonna be for sure one my "stop and enjoy location in a future"

Stars ! Excellent Park , Lots of Oak Tree fir shade , pinic tables , North side of the patk view over looks the CALOOSAHATCHEE RIVER , draw bridge and view of boats using the access to the North and South .

From time to time there are events held at the stage such as bands and the SWAMP CABBAGE FESTIVAL in the month of February .

The SWAMP CABBAGE FESTIVAL attracts many people from all over Florida and at that event thrre are Vendors of Quilting, Crafts , Woodworking and nany other booths set up .

There are Tennis Courts on the East side of the park and restrooms on the Southeast side of the park .

On the Southwest side of the patk is a Pavilion with overlooks Bridge Street , also known as 29 whichs travels North and South .

If You enjoy Honey Curtis Honey is a short walk just South and they have the most delicious honey such as : Palmetto , Wildflower , Orange Blossom and Sea Grape . I have known and purchased honey from the Curtis Family since 1989 Renee's a real pleasure to do...

Waterfront view and opportunity to see boats stop traffic to go thru bridge. Loud horn signals arrival. Many weekends of craftspeople displaying and selling their goods. My favorite coffee shop Family Grounds Cafe sells better than Star### drinks that are to die for...my fave..Smores. I bought cookies yesterday that helped support St Jude...homemade from an excellent cook. They have live music, picnic tables and plenty of parking. I parked at Baron library. Benches. .you can sit in sun or shade and watch the birds and wildlife. These events I gather are not every weekend but part of the Revitalization thus Google to...
