The coffee is good. They bake their muffins, and the rest of the baked product is brought in. I ordered a danish but didn't want it warmed in the microwave as I like my pastries crispy. Unfortunately, they aren't finishing or refreshing the wholesale products in their oven before putting them out. So it was soggy like it had been nuked anyway. They have a casual menu for non sweet toothed customers and the counter help was cheerful and efficient. The shop has plenty of tables, games to use, books- everything to while away some time amid suitable decor. UPDATE since owner chooses to respond as below; No, it is not acceptable to present a Danish as soggy. Either refresh it, or ideally, glaze it before refreshing so it stays crisp. I'm not one of your "experts", I''m a baker and culinary grad, in the industry. A soggy Danish is unappealing and not acceptable. Your help supplied the info as to what was baked on site. Perhaps some training for the counter and some for handling public reviews as the outrage over my Danish review obscured all the rest of the complimentary review? I was pretty...
Read moreThis was like stepping back into old school, Florida. Very cozy atmosphere. The menu is exactly what you would expect for a coffee and tea place. Breakfast all day and lunch. The service was really great. The location was very clean and tidy. I ordered a protein breakfast bowl. Scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese. Except the eggs weren’t scrambled, it’s almost like they were baked and cut into squares the size of Chiclets. They didn’t taste bad, but the texture was very offputting. The menu said scrambled eggs, but these were clearly cubed. I don’t know any other way to explain it. Like I said, they didn’t taste bad, but I’m a texture person and I had a very hard time with the texture. Having said that, though I would absolutely go back there. My husband had to do a service call at a location, not far From there, so this was a little gem that we had no idea about until now. Sweetest little location you would never know it was there unless you were looking. Give it a try you will not be...
Read moreWe went here for the first time for lunch. Overall we were very happy. When we first walked in we stood there for about 5 minutes without being greeted or given any direction as to what to do. I think it's because they are used to regulars coming in. We ordered at the counter and then sat to eat. Everyone was very sweet. We ordered an iced mocha and a chai latte both with oat milk. They were delicious. They only offer a couple of their soups each day and the one I wanted they didn't have. We got a grilled cheese with tomato and we also got a tuna sandwich. They come with a pickle and chips. We also got 2 chocolate chip cookies. I wouldn't say I was blown away but it was all very good. Prices weren't too bad. About the same as you pay elsewhere. It's a super cute coffee shop. I could see myself going there with my laptop to work or just to relax. Very relaxed atmosphere. Will...
