This is a nice little park on the shores of Butler Lake. Itās just a normal community park, so donāt expect anything spectacular, but it would be a nice place to go to with your kids if you live in the area and want to play by the beach (if youāre not looking to drive all the way to the coast). The beach isnāt kept up perfectly, hence why I give it 3 stars instead of 5, but they do have bathrooms, a play area for kids, and a concrete boardwalk/pier thing with benches that goes out into the water for fishing. The splash pad was already broken after being repaired the week before. The lake is pretty but there can be ants in the sand and the drains from the park drain directly into the lakes swimming area. The covered benches are nice but a man was sleeping on them all morning. Overall, could be a great park with some work. Def makes me wish we had a boat...
