Oak Crossing — Attraction in Lake Charles

We had our son's rehearsal dinner at Oak Crossing in June of 2018. It was an out of town event for us, so we needed to find a place that was flexible and easy to work with. Oak Crossing is such a place! Not only is the venue beautiful, nestled in a stand of stately oak trees, the "Tree House" space was equally elegant for our dinner, and lent itself to our personal decorating tastes. Working with an outside caterer was also not a problem. They were already familiar with the set up.. The venue has a practical and very usable and well-equipped staging area for caterers. The staff at Oak Crossing are welcoming, courteous and willing to answer any question. The venue is affordable for the amenities you receive. We did not need a bride's room, but the property has one that is absolutely beautiful - second to none for your bride. Let me start off by saying that Alicia Mire, the Venue Coordinator, is hands down the most helpful person that I have had the pleasure of speaking with during these crazy times of Corona. In two days, she has gone over and beyond in steering us in a meaningful direction for my daughter's upcoming wedding! She has returned my calls, called vendors on my behalf and met with me in person! The grounds at Oak Crossing are beautiful! Although we unfortunately aren't able to hold our reception there due to a previously booked wedding, I would HIGHLY recommend Oak Crossing just for the fact that Alicia is the coordinator! She has put us in contact with a reputable caterer and we are all set for our wedding. Who does that!?!? She has gone out of her way to help us even though we are not utilizing her venue! Class act!! The staff at Oak Crossing is so friendly and professional. We had our company crawfish boil under the beautiful oaks at Oak Crossing and it was wonderful. They were very accommodating. The grounds were clean (spotless) and the Gazebo along with the shade provided by the gorgeous oak trees made for a great event. We look forward to many more.
