L Bridal Couture — Local services in Lake Charles

I'm so sorry to be the first person that I've seen give a bad review of this bridal shop, but I had an overall poor experience at this bridal shop.

I felt very rushed through the entire process after paying for one hour (which is not enough time to make this big of a decision), and instead of supporting me to help guide me in a direction I was comfortable with, the staff rushed us to make a decision with 10 minutes to spare in the appointment. Before I could think, the staff put the veil and flowers in my hands of a dress I was clearly not sure of yet.

After I made a decision, I had a difficult time just to book picking the dress up, as I live out of town. The staff was not accommodating and once again was ready to see me out the door after putting me in my dress that was a different size than the initial dress I had tried on.

But the thing that disappointed me the most in this whole experience is after showing photos to my seamstress and looking at comparison shots, we are 95% sure this bridal salon ordered a different dress than the initial sample dress. But! No return after being rushed out of the door.

The name L Bridal puts a smile on my face! This place is made for brides, it absolutely is about each individual bride who walks in the door. First off it’s the cutest place ever, second Mary was truely made by God to work with brides, she amazing! Their schedule is your schedule, they will do whatever it takes to accommodate to a time you can come. Upon arrival at my appointment Mary was waiting for us with all the help in the world, she took all the details I had to help me find the perfect style and fit for myself. I found the most perfect gown, I wish I could wear it everyday! After ordering my gown both Mary and Laurie kept up with me, very friendly..they’re so sweet! Once the dress was in I got a personal call from Mary letting me know it was it and that she was so excited for me to see it again. Of course, when I went in to pick up my gown I fell in love all over again with the dress and this place! Even after picking up the dress Mary has kept up to date with me about any help they could be further with anything dealing with the dress. It really doesn’t get any better than...

I can’t say enough good things about my shopping experience here. Mary was so helpful and upbeat. I was feeling very negative about the process and she helped me find the perfect dress and she reached out to a seamstress to make sure the changes I wanted could be done if I bought the dress because my decision rested on those changes. When I mentioned a change I wanted in the dress, Mary was very helpful in gathering accessories and holding them on so I could see what it would look like.

I didn’t feel any pressure to pick a dress and she even encouraged me to sleep on it and buy the dress the next day if I needed to.

She pulled some dresses and we got to pull dresses ourselves. I didn’t realize the dress I wanted was a sample sale dress until almost the end of the appointment but it was a pleasant surprise to get it so heavily discounted. Not only was it a beautiful dress, it came in way under budget and left me with lots of wiggle room for an alterations budget.
