Okay we have all heard the saying 1 person is a mistake 2 people a coincidence but 3 you might want to start looking into what people are saying because something is going on.
1)The Aquarian stated that Pastor Rick Warren got it wrong with choosing Andy as his successor. about Pastor Andy making a political post . 2)Christian Hunter states that the church does not care about the poor unless your giving to the church and supporting there mission 3)Brandon Carey states that Saddleback pastors and members turn there back and are snobs when people are going thru rought patches. 4)Susie . states that they will reject you if you are going thru problems and won't be there for you. They will talk bad about you to other churches and try to ruin your life. I don't know any of these people
I attended since 2000. But then things started to change After Andy became pastor of Saddleback. Andy Woods was a pastor at Echo Church in San Jose California https://julieroys.com/former-staffers-expose-bullying-rick-warren-successor-andy-wood/ . But Saddleback did not care but still hired him. It should be good to know that in order for them to care about you you need to become a member of the church to defend the church at all cost. So if someone is saying something bad you need to do what you can do make it look like it is not true. Pastor Andy has a secretary named l.... who is abusive when she writes and rude and has turned people away she has even threaten me and my well being and told me to watch my back. the Baptist convetion separated themselves from Saddleback Ranch Church because of Andy. You can verify all Ok with that said I have experienced at Saddleback since Andy has gotten there 1)Andy did write a post on his views about where he stands and endoring the magas then after 8 hours he took it off 2)He started a campaign and put pressure on people to give to it then he turned around and spoke and showed the congregation that he spend 6 hours in a chair that he and his son got tattoes Then he brought up a pastor who made a joke if he should also go and get one. He wanted to spend the money on a swing. 3)My husband got let go because he was taking care of a child who is autistic and a wife who is ill and going under medical treatment his supervisor gave him the days off then fired him. He should have been covered under HMLA when I brought it to there attention l said Andy sen writtenly harrass me with saying that I better watch my back and take a different path or else. That I was putting there staff and members in danger. When they were the ones who threaten me and my family they also reminded me that I had to follow the pact I made with them. 4)Each time they brought someone up to speak it was a person with money and had the Disney look. When I asked what about the true that are poor and have truly gone thru things and concured because of Jessus they wrote back to me and was very abusive. 5)I have a service animal because as I said before I have a disability each time I attended the other church staff treated me as thou I was the plague they would send security to watch me like a hawk the pastors and other church workers gave me the dirty looks. 6)I am Native American and wanted to go on a mission trip but I was told God had told them I was not fit 7)I wanted to join a sports team that was open to everyone but then the leader told me No your not needed or wanted here. 8)I wanted to help with greeting but the lead usher told me no your not going to volunteer with your service animal . 9)I was going to Anaheim campus and t the pastor that use to work idea of me starting a ministry I did and things were going good it was growing but then Andy found out and without no warning they sent notes to everyone that they were not needed anymore When I found out I was hurt. 10) I belong to a funeral ministry there but after the first day I got a phone call asking me if I was trying to get experience in the mortuary field when I said yes because I wanted to be able to get a job in that field. I was told to go away and...
Read moreMy view of Christianity has matured so much as a result of my experience at Saddleback Church. Having been a Mormon, Presbyterian, and then non-denominational church attendee, I have a good amount of experience from which to draw. I see the shortcomings in so much of today's religious teaching. The purest message of Saddleback Church, however, is to love all, with no exceptions. Love those who deserve it least, show grace and mercy, and even put others' needs ahead of my own in the spirit of love, being a peace-keeper, and winning non-believers to Christ.
I'm a broken sinner, barely able to tie my own shoes at times, but with Jesus' footsteps to try and walk in, I'm ahead of the game. Rick Warren helps me because he preaches what the Bible says: we are all sinners -- no one is perfect -- and we're just trying to sin less, not claim we're sinless.
RW is a humble man who wears a $17 watch and drives the same car he's had for something like 15 years, as he lives in the same humble house he's always had. His detractors seem to have an axe to grind. Someone will always be in denial of their own sin, and resent that he is at odds with them. Well, you just can't please everyone, especially those who feel their way is right and he is wrong. Those people say he preaches hate, and they're so mistaken. He seeks to unite, not divide. For example, he "consorts" with non-Christian organizations (to be a good neighbor and bring unity), and he helps factious African countries unite for the purpose of providing food, medicine, and education to the underserved and hungry populace. These two actions of his aren't necessary for pastors, unless your goal is to love all and serve. Think about that.
Saddleback's goal is to preach the gospel, and do it with few words. With over 500 ministries / outreaches, the church sure serves a lot of people, and gives a lot of people an opportunity to serve. I've benefited from them, and am grateful to be a part of the Saddleback family. While it's a large church, it really has multiple smaller campuses, and therefore doesn't feel much like a mega-church --- far from it. The campuses daily follow the Saddleback Peace Plan: Plant churches that promote reconciliation, Equip servant leaders, Assist the poor, Care for the sick, and Educate the next generation.
There's no flash or panache. I still visit other churches when traveling or as circumstances dictate, and I've noticed that Saddleback members aren't braggarts wearing their finest clothes and driving fancy cars. They're just down to earth people seeking great teaching. In Orange County, that's refreshing. And while this is not a complaint about other pastors, I must say that RW's style is so clear, planned, and meaningful that even my daughter (at age 13) recognized it. She opted to listen to him and take notes, just as I do, rather than go to her middle-school group. Without simply reading the Bible and expounding on it, RW instead preaches on various themes -- perhaps our daily problems, like improving relationships, etc. He discusses the problem, and then creates a prescription solution that comes with multiple points backed by multiple scriptures. He thoughtfully will consult with various versions of the Bible and find the one that most eloquently addresses the point. I appreciate that diligence! Let's face it, King James and I don't really communicate well! Detractors who want to split-hairs on any single passage are perhaps pharisaical and missing the point. Just sayin'.
There are lots of other churches one could attend, and RW would be the FIRST to say "they're good too". Try Saddleback out for yourself, and/or try one of the other good ones. Just get to a good church you...
Read morehere is my story that is more clear
I went to the womens bible study and joined a group. I told the group in a group text message to pray for my relative because something bad happened before. it was a terrible incident. I explained everything in detail. the entire group did not respond to my text and my prayer was not acknowledged.
about a week later, one of the ladies gave me a gift and she apologized for not responding to my text and then she told me that the group did not respond because heavy topics like this are not allowed to be talked about in prayer requests. I take this as a form of judgement.
I was hurting. I believe god wants to hear my story. jesus would have acknowledged my pain right there on the spot.......he would not have waited about a week later and then apologized for ignoring me. I thought I was sitting at a table that was full of followers of jesus......but it turns out that the table was full of pagans and tax collectors that chose to obey human rules so that they can please their masters.
I contacted pastor heather and I told her about this. I said that I would like to return the gift that I got from one of the ladies and that I wish to sit alone in the study. she replied and said that the study is for a group study and that if I want to return the gift, I am to meet someone at one of their offices and give the gift to that person so it can be returned as I am no longer allowed to visit the study.
pastor heather who is not really a pastor cancelled and voided my tickets so that I can no longer have entry into the study.
heather and the women here really hurt me. I thought I knew heather. jesus would not have casted me out.
so I kept the gift and now I stay away from this location because I do not follow human rules. I follow the rules of god.
I recently found out that the women in pastoral care contacted other saddleback locations and spoked about me.............I mean why not talk to me directly....??? they can send me a text message or an email........as they do have my information.........what is this about....??? they can not talk to me directly because it is top secret...???
matthew 7 : 1 "Judge not, that ye be not judged."
because my testimony has been judged, saddleback is now going to be judged for not being true disciples of jesus. saddleback is an enemy to god. jesus said in Luke 19 : 27 "But those mine enemies, which would not that i should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me."
saddleback tried to teach me to lie about my feelings and not share whatever it is thats on my mind..........this is something that I can not do.........I can not lie because that is not the nature of god. it is ungodly.
saddleback is not the real house of god. it is the true castle of satan.
pastor heather is not a real pastor. she is the...
