This review is purely based on my experiences and what I witnessed. If you are planning on attending this “institution” in the pursuit of an education degree, then this is a great place for that, otherwise pay a little more and go to either Loyola, NU, U of C or save money and go to a state school. Favoritism is absolutely rampant within the university as well as subjective grading (e.g. A.D.). If you are on a sports team, you are guaranteed a 3.0 average (this is a fact). I have never witnessed so much cheating in my entire life, until I attended here. The worst person I had to ever deal was in the Sociology Department (i.e. E.W.). “The reason why black people are in jail is because they are angry”, yes he said this. Overall the administration are not nice people. Honestly, if I had to do it all over again, I would have gone to a state school. The sad thing about this place, the student body exhibits a lot of ageism. Meaning, if you are over 27 years old go to a...

The supportive environment is just incredible! My coworkers and fellow students from the police department have been my rocks, cheering me on every step of the way.

Thank you, SXU, for everything! 🎉 You've truly made a difference...
Read moreI currently attend SXU and it has been nothing but a headache. The professors and my classes are not what is wrong here, they are exceptional. Unfortunately, my issues come from the everywhere else. I have had several incidents with the financial aid office because they have either forgotten to give me vital information or have forgotten to post my awards, which should be the simplest thing to do. The department of education has consistently given me wrong information regarding my ACT scores. At first, I wasn't going to be charged a fee and all I had to do was send them to the school. I ended up paying $70 to send my scores to SXU because that is what the incompetent staff TOLD me I had to do. Now I have pay another $70 to send them somewhere else. It is completely unprofessional and I hope they correct these problems in the future. Thank you for constantly making my life more difficult SXU,...
