I went in about 3 weeks ago and got an iPhone 5 used/unlocked, at first noticed my front camera was a little foggy (wasn't a big deal), then last night I dropped my phone from my couch onto my CARPET floor and the front of it shattered at the top causing my keyboard to stop working. So this morning I go there right at 9 when it says that they open and didn't think it was a big deal that no one was there yet, til I sat and waited for 30 minutes. So I left and went over to Sell n Fix and he thought it was absolutely ridiculous what CellFix was charging me for my iPhone 5 and as he started taking my phone apart to replace the cracked screen he realized why my front camera was foggy, it was missing a front camera bracket. Also noticed it had some unnecessary screws in the phone that would of later caused me problems. Also he figured out why my screen shattered so easily, the frame of my iPhone is bent severely causing tension on my screen. ATTENTION anyone going here to get a refurbished phone and pay it off with SmartPay, before they finalize your order make sure you tell them when you want your payments (monthly, biweekly) and how much you want them to be bc they WILL NOT ask you and SmartPay says they are supposed to bc they can not edit the order after it's been submitted, so they automatically set me up for paying $62 every other week to pay off my phone. Called and complained about it to a girl here at CellFix and she told me to call SmartPay and have it changed, do not listen to them bc it can not be changed. Least to say, I learned my lesson going here. You want better service, better phones that actually are in great condition, or need anyone to fix your broken screen go to Sell n Fix. He fixed everything on my phone for just $50!! Btw I have read multiple reviews on this place, lots of people unhappy, and also noticed people posting bad reviews, CellFix comments back to you saying your a competitor. I'm a hostess at Nineteen 61 btw, not a competitor and still hate this place. ALSO if you say "I can't find anyone under this name in our system" like you have to other customers - Alexus Johnson is my name in...
Read moreOkay so this is kind of a huge story so im gonna cut it short, i have an iphone 6s, i took it to your shop because it would'nt turn on for some apparant reason. So one of the employees told me he could try to put a battery on it and maybe thats whats wrong with it, so he put the battery and it started right up. The phone was good although the screen was flickering very badly, the employee said "dont worry, itll stop in a few minutes, if not, bring it back and ill do it over again" i had a huge meeting in miami and it never stopped flickering, i turn it off and leave it alone until the next day. I turn it on after a while and my phone had a bunch of big spots on the screen (my phone was already cracked btw) and i took it to the shop and explained what happened and the same man that helped me the day before tried blamming it on me and saying that he knows i dropped it again and the phone was in its case and completely shut off without getting touched, so it must've been something that he did. He replied to what i said with "it was not me, its because you dropped it again and now you need a new lcd" i asked how much it would be and he said 90 dollars but a man walked in and needed a new battery and an lcd and he only charged him 100 for both, but charged me 65 for the battery, then tried charging me 90 for the lcd. Think about it, me and the man needed the same things, and i was getting charged 55 more dollars for the same exact thing we both needed, plus i already bought the battery, it didnt even last 24 hours without my screen going out, and now i cant use it until i get the lcd fixed, why was i getting charged more than the other man when we needed the same exact thing? Why did my phone not stop flickering when he said it would stop in a few minutes? Why all of a sudden my lcd goes out the day after he completely took my screen out to apply the battery? This is frustrating me, if i would have paid for it thats 155 dollars not including...
Read moreI’ll be aware of doing any type of business With your Devices at this location, especially if you go through the insurance that they offer through third-party. My cell phone broke and the insurance had me pay a deductible of $100 and the insurance picked up the rest when I called to see how the process works. The gentleman told me that he will order the parts and call me whenever they are there to fix my phone and once he does fix my phone, it will take up to Six hours to fix which wasn’t A problem what became a problem is that he took a month to get the part in after me calling back to back I then get him to finally take my phone to fix it and instead of it taking six hours it took them over 12 hours to fix then threaten them my phone was not fixed before certain time I would have to get my phone back broke or fixed and I will contact a Manager and Shirley did not feed them by to get my phone back off of that many hours and the insurance company then contact me and states that they are very sorry about what happened in that they will ask for a refund and pay the store $100 at their own pocket to make sure that I am satisfied with the third-party company and Kat on explaining how sorry they are and then reached out to the store to get a refund and was told that they can’t issue refund without Amanda‘s approval and I said that’s fine. Have the manager contact me because you’re still getting your hundred dollars but at the end of the day, I need my own hundred dollars back in my pocket, and they informed me that manager will contact me because they won’t give me a number to a manager Long story short I never heard back from Andrew and every time I call it’s a dead end because they refuse to give me a manager number or email or even tell me if the manager will be at the store that day multiple...
