After 25 years my engagement ring needed some love and attention. I went to another local jeweler who gave me an outrageous estimate for a repair. Not only that but they damaged my ring in the process by "cleaning" it (which they were not asked to do). No apology other than, it happens. So, my ring sat in a drawer for over a year as I couldn't afford to have it repaired.

Enter Broestl. I searched for another jeweler that was highly recommended and found them. I am thrilled to death that I did. The staff here was amazingly helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The owner/jeweler was also amazingly helpful, and friendly -- but above and beyond all else, he was fair in his assessment of the repair that needed to be done and quoted me 1/3 of what the original establishment had. Needless to say, I immediately said yes.

I picked up my ring yesterday and it was beautiful. He did a phenomenal job of essentially rebuilding the ring to not only fix the crack in the band, but strengthen the prongs and inset diamonds. After polishing it up, when I arrived to collect it -- it looked like a brand new ring. I had tears in my eyes when I was able to finally put it back on my finger after so long.

I had a horrible experience at Broestl and Wallis. The man who sized a piece of my jewelry was rude, arrogant and down right unprofessional. He called me a liar and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Remind you this was my first time coming into the store and he asked me how much my engagement ring was appraised for. When I told him the amount he called me a liar and said "Sometimes guys lie and tell you the engagement ring is worth more than it really is so they look like a big shot. There is no way your ring is worth that much." How would you feel if you were a first time customer that was excited about your engagement ring and a man said this to you? I will never go back to this jewelry store ever again and I will make sure everyone knows how unprofessional and wrong this man was. ( The only reason I gave Broestl and Wallis one star is because I appreciate the lady who helped me and who tried to compensate for this...
