Ft. Steilacoom Park — Attraction in Lakewood

Steilacoom has a great dog park. Fully fenced, big parking lot (multiple parking lots can get you to the dog park via trails), and good amenities (water fountains, dog poop bags, garbage cans, agility course, etc.).

The large dog park has good grass coverage and wooded areas here and there. Tons of benches for people to sit and take in the sights in between playtime.

There's a good trail network near the dog park that leads into an oak prairie and eventually into a heavily wooded area. The trails are well maintained. If you want to go to Waughop Lake, the trails can get you there and back.

Overall, a good dog park for all types of dogs. Would recommend. My German Shepherd...
