Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park — Attraction in Land O' Lakes

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I am serious Service is terrible and they have no sense on how to maintain a comfortable environment. We walked in and it was extremely cold. When we asked while buying tickets as to why it is colder than outside (It was 70 degrees outside and literally 50 inside), they said it’s just the entrance area since people close and open doors so we were like Hmmm ok. So we purchased the tickets and took the kids inside. God!!! It was even more cold inside 🤦🏻‍♀️. I had to get a blanket from my car to survive since you know kids, they were not gonna walk away no matter what after seeing the trampolines. So for them I bared the Alaska freeze 🥶 for 15 mins. My kids started coughing and shivering and my nose started bleeding ( It’s a Florida body lol) so I stepped away to take care of it and after coming out of the rest room, I asked the helpers there to turn down the AC. They were barely able to listen me since the music was deafening and I asked them to turn it down as well. So this was their answer “we do not know how to turn down the music and there is no control for air condition”. I thought the guy was new so I went to another lady, she said same and few people were walking out and said the same that they leaving as it’s crazy cold. Than I decided to go to front desk after trying for 15 mins talking to other people inside. So 15 mins I tried to stay in the cold and 15 mins I tried to complain about it. That’s 30 mins give or take in the miserable place. I talk with the lady who gave us tickets and she said same thing so I asked her to call the manager. He said the same thing too which was very surprising to me. How can they not know how to turn down the music and control the air conditioner and she showed me this plastic case which apparently was locked where the thermostat was. So no matter it’s cold or hot outside, the temperature will be 50 degrees inside. I was like fine, it’s none of my business on how they run the place. So I told them that since they do not have any options we would like to come back some other day, may be in afternoon or something. I didn’t even ask for a refund which I am entitled to get if I am not comfortable in the place but I have been there in summer and it’s not that bad. So the manager checks the time and says “oh you are almost 35 mins in so we can’t refund you”. I said that I do not need refund, just give me credit for future use. And he goes “Oh we don’t have option to do that here” so I was like fine. We can’t stay and we are leaving, can we at least get credit for the remaining hour that we can’t use due to this comfortable cold environment. He goes “Like I said for everything you asked - Music, AC, credit : We do not have anyway or know anyway to accommodate you” 🤯. Yup my mind blew away. so I just walked away and decided to never come back to this god awful place. I was sad since it was really nice place and we had a lot of fun and Bday parties there’s but May be there is management change or everyone is young and new. Well their loss they lost a loyal customer and her 15 to 20 friends, almost $30 times 30 + $600 time 30 Bday Party income lol I am sure they will run out of business soon with there impeccable customer service and excellent business running knowledge on how this place works. 😂. Being a financial analyst for a global bank my predictions are majority of the time true so do not get any annual membership. But in case they do not shutdown anytime soon would be with some major staff training and smart customer service. They literally were not gonna loose any money in giving me a credit hour to come back, everything they have there has a fixed cost( cost does not change even if customers show up or not ) and very less variable cost, but turning me away lost them much more $$. Anyway I just wanted to share my experience since there are many other great trampoline park in the area that have more things to offer with much better customer service. Very nasty management. They started yelling at my children because they didn’t have socks that they ask customers to buy. Meanwhile other children also didn’t have socks that they wanted them to buy. They did not harassed any other children except mine. My children did have socks on and we were only there for 1 hour. 15 minutes before our time was up management who is a minor called the sheriff on us for trespassing. They manager came over to my husband and myself and implied we should leave. I have this on video recording if needed. I will be contacting cooperate to ensue further action. I would like to also get a refund of my money since my child were constantly touched and told not to jump by staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would also like to add that we are black and the other kids that were not asked to change sock were white . Clearly racism played a role. If management want to contact me they have my information. They called the sheriff and made reports we were trespassing so I will take further actions and no I won’t call any management there because you employees were nasty and said he called the sheriff because I was videotaping him telling us we had to be exported out. A total violation and racism. You have our contact information if you need to contact us but we will do the rest through legal actions. If I could give 0 rating then that’s what it would be. How could your footage reveal aggression when at no time did I or my husband remove ourselves from our seat. We sat where we sat the entire time and your manager did put his hand on my son and did block him from jumping and my video which I will produce clearly identified this and also your minor underage manager came over to us and said we could ask you guys to leave. Which was when I started to video tape his conversation. If he had then said specifically to leave we would have left with a refund. But at no time did he clarify for us to leave. He instead called the sheriff and the sheriff stated to me that the reason he said they were called it was because the minor manager said I was videotaping him and he clearly didn’t know that was my rights to videotape his arrogance for myself. I see many reviews that complain about the same issues others have with you employing minors who clearly don’t know how to communicate or manage a place and as I stated before I have on my video many white children jumping without socks one baby was seen without sock and that was shown to the Sheriff by myself. Also many other children with socks but clearly not non skid sock so yes we were racial treated unfairly from your institution because we are black. You will hear from our attorney....

It seems that we are at flying squirrel at least once a month for the past year as we have young children and if there’s not a routine birthday party, then we go there to burn off some of our kiddos steam on the weekends. Each and every time we go, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I would love to say that we wouldn’t use them however with small children there is no options of having them hold it without a high risk of an accident in the car. We have recently went as far as walking over to sprouts to avoid how bad these bathrooms are. I know this place is ran by teenagers as all the employees lok like they’re under the age of 20 but the past few times we’ve been there, The other Moms and I have been discussing finding another venue due to the dirty facilities alone. Today, was an exceptionally bad day. My husband took my daughter and she had to use the men’s room because she is four and we do not allow her to go to public restrooms alone, and apparently they were so disgusting that my husband and daughter came straight home afterwards and both took showers and we put their shoes in the washing machine. This is supposed to be a family oriented place. Having someone take a check of the bathrooms, map and unclog toilets/stop them from flowing over and replace toilet paper hourly should not be that costly, especially since I’m sure the labor cost are very low. Additionally, there is no paper towels(ever), and no way to open the door without having to touch it and contaminate your hands. I’m sure the reason they don’t have paper towels is because people try to use them for toilet paper and clogged the toilets or something however, not having an option to open the door to leave the bathroom without touching it is disgusting. Do yourself a favor and do a simple Google search and find other trampoline Parks in the area. The extra few minutes drive will be...
