Fastest and nicest case workers I've ever had to deal with i was in and out in 45min i got there and the security lmk where to go to line up they called me up very quickly i told them my issue the first lady i deal with at the front was very friendly and helped me straighten out my issue i had to reapply because i forgot to turn in my readmission paperwork and even tho i had to wait to see a case worker in the back i literally waited like 10min and they called my name to the back for my one on one interview. I really liked that they have individual rooms with a door and you can close so no one needs to hear your business and you have your privacy 🙏 the case worker i got was friendly and professional and helped me finish my paperwork it was literally super fast and the most convenient office I've been to in years i believe her name was Cynthia i asked for her name but everything happened so quick I can't remember if i got her name right i thanked her and told her i appreciated her time and i was out of there they expedited my benefits and gave me the max for me and my boy's like they always do. I used to go to the flamingo office and i have a favorite case worker that always helps me and trust i know he tries his best with the way their system is I'll never forget friendly white dude with a pompadour greaser/rockabilly style from the flamingo office i just can't go there because of the long wait times and it always being overcrowded. Go to the Nellis location!...
Read moreTerrible!! You go there hoping to get in and out within the hour at the most and end being there for hours on end. You wait in line a long time just to let them know you are there so they can then call you up and ask you what you need. Most of the time you are waiting hours just to hear your name and half the time you cant hear them when they do. The women up front are nice when they do call you up and you hear them, but the reason it takes them so long to call people is because they are up there socializing with each other and not doing their jobs. Lets not forget they take about four lunch breaks a day at the same time so usually there is only one person up there doing there job. Now about the facility, it is usually crowded beyond belief, noisy to where you cant even hear yourself think, and looks as though no one has cleaned the place since the 80's. The bathrooms are too terrible to think about. You would think the government could afford to build another office on this side of town because there are too many people here that need help, especially for such a small office. At the least they can hire people to actually clean the place and get it more organized. I dread the days I have to go in there with my one year old daughter, because I cant afford to have someone watch her while I am there. If it wasn't for the fact that this is the only place you can go on this side of town I would say stay away from the place like it was...
Read moreI couldn't help but hear a loud conversation in the booth next to mine , a girl was mad because she didn't want to go to the classes to receive her cash aid . She wasn't going to get it , I know , but the worker Antonio Thomson was sooooo unprofessional about it he told her it wasn't his problem and she "could leave now" and when his supervisor came down and dismissed her he went on for the rest of my interview interrupting my case worker to rant about how ghetto she was and how if she had a job and a babies father she wouldn't be here in the first place . I was so much in shock he totally disregarded my presence . I have a good part time job and attend college however I am a single mother and only ask for medical insurance . Mr Thompson was right in some aspects but was so unprofessional and generalizing this woman with all welfare clients which would include me . If you do not like your job consider another...
