We just had our wedding reception at Visions of Greatness last Saturday, May 3 with about 150 guests (married in a church beforehand). This place is absolutely incredible. I know some people don't like the all-inclusive type of wedding where they provide food and drink vendors, but it was the absolute best wedding food l've ever had, the staff is incredible (Melinda is the venue coordinator and she's amazing), and you will also not find a better venue. They have an entire room and shipping containers full of decorations that they allow you to use for no extra charge, linen room full of a bunch of different color linens- no extra charge. They do all set up and tear down even if you bring in extra decorations you just tell them where you want them and they will put them out and also pack them up for you to pick up at your convenience. Outside of food and alcohol you are allowed to bring in your own vendors, but they do offer some optional in house entertainment options including a DJ, band, and quartet of singers. We used their DJ and everyone raved about how good he was as well. Do not let their low price fool you, this place is top notch and it's better than weddings l've been to that were double the price. My wife and I still can't stop raving about how incredible they all were to work with. They went above and beyond in any way and we more than once said "wait, you'll seriously take care of that for us for no...
Read moreI have hosted many events throughout various parts of the country. This is by far the best place I’ve ever hosted an event. Melinda the Senior Event Manager is the best manager I have ever worked with. She thinks of everything and works to make your event special. For me the little things are really important and she pays attention to those things. I haven’t even gotten to the mission or the look of the place. Not only is this place beautiful, has amazing food and drinks and has great AV capabilities but it also serves the disabled community. It provides individuals with vision impairments with a place to build a sense of community and provides a space for them to do all sorts of activities. Not to mention that they also employ vision impaired individuals. All around the best place in Las Vegas to host an event, honestly I’d even say one of the best places in the country to...
Read moreI went to a conference here and was lucky enough to get a full tour. The place is amazing! It's great for a conference but also just beautiful to see each a place for the blind community with all their amenities and things to do. Our conference was 3 days and the last night we had a "prom" which really changed the space we got to enjoy more of the space and the amazing people inside the community and building. Giving visually impaired individuals a place to work and learn life skills. I wish there was something like this in Colorado, but I do plan the on going back and if our conference is there again in Vegas, I'll be there just solely to support the foundation in the...
