Agree with the other posters. Small store so very easy to get around the aisles. Parking is a cinch compared to other places like giant or Harris Teeter where you have to walk a long way.
They don't have a ton of different selections but it's good enough and honestly the meat is really good compared to how large of a place it actually is. Which is small. I love this place especially if you're limited physically and you don't want to spend all day stuck in the grocery store. This is the place for you.
Prices are usually below the other stores locally. But not always period on a few items W higher and on those I don't get the item. But I would say about 75% of things are cheaper here than anywhere else. Paper products and toiletries have recently taken a price spike upward and aren't as cheap as they once were but I think they're still very competitive.
They often give away coupons for $5 off in $80 purchase. So you're always getting additional discounts it seems. Which I don't think you get most other places.
I like the deli counter. I've become friends with the people behind it. In part because you get used to the same people as it's a smaller store.
It's also not a very busy store so you can always get in and out of there without a huge line. I'm always amazed by that.
It is a very clean store. And you'd expect a small store with cheap prices to sort of have a rundown feel. It's quite the opposite actually and I'm proud to go in there. Even though I know I'm going to save at least $5 on every 60 bucks I shop.
Unless you shop at ALDI, I can't see you getting a better deal on your...
Read moreI stopped in yesterday for one item but ended up getting a cart because they had a lot of hard to find items that I didnât know that I needed, hence the star. It wouldâve been 4 stars because the store was also clean, bright, and it was an easy shopping experience. The minus 1 star wouldâve been for the bread aisle, because it was pretty empty. So, how did we get to 1 star? The cashier. An older lady who when I approached with my cart and put a couple of items on the belt, immediately and loudly asked âAre you using EBT? Theyâre down! We arenât taking it right now!â I politely said no and continued to put the few items I had on the belt. Now my items fit in 2 bags so it wasnât as if I had a cart full and Iâm confused as to why she made this judgment. As I paid and moved up, she didnât ask the man behind me that question and no, he was not in line when she asked me so he didnât hear her. I also forgot one item, went back to an aisle and through her line (no one else was open). She didnât ask the person in front of me or behind me then either. So itâs disturbing and disgusting that I am the one sheâd pick to make an assumption on who would be paying a certain way. Please inform your employees that if theyâre going to ask a question, ask every patron or do not...
Read moreI dont go to this particular location because customer service on the front end is non exsistant. This time the cashier, an older black gentleman spent the first few moments talking to a coworker as I entered into his line. Then another person, possibly a coworker came in the front door. I watched him as he waved and spoke and smiled while making friendly hand gestures to them. He looks at me and asked "what kind of pepper is this"? I responded. He then finished scanning my things and gave me tbe total. I paid. As I was gathering my things and putting away my card, a caucasion gentleman entered his line. "Hello, how are you"? I looked at the cashier and instead of making a scene, I decided to go online an file a report of dissatisfaction. The whole time he never acknowledged me, not even as much as a nod. If he had been knowledgeable on the pepper he wouldn't have said one word. It will be awhile before I go back there. 2019 Im not going to continue to patronize entities where customer service or common etiquette is not practiced. Very unprofessional and rude. Worse he was an older black man no excuse for being rude. But not to the caucasion. He went all out to speak talk and smile....
