The mount hope winery was very cute. They had a broad wine selection and the staff were friendly. There is a large gift shop here as well. There are no food options available in the winery portion and on the Saturday we went the Brewery above was unexpectedly closed which was disappointing. I am hoping to return when both locations are open. We did end up buying a few bottles of wine to enjoy.

Never a bad experience. Right on a main road so it's easy to find. I always do a tasting and walk away with at least a few bottles to go. Super friendly staff and great product

If a visitor asks me about my state, Pennsylvania and what’s something they should see or do here? I tell them Mt. Hope winery. Made right here in my home state of PA. For me it’s a staple of the local area and a must try. Their long line of wines, mead and cider will impress any critic. The wines invite you with their unique label designs and distinct aroma and flavor. A visit to Mt. Hope winery will delight you and your friends. Each location has a very welcoming atmosphere. I have visited the PA Ren Faire location for 10 years and their spot twice located next too Miller’s Smorgasbord. Anyone visiting would be lucky enough to meet Vicky who has helped me on two occasions. She has great charisma and is a pleasure to talk to and guide you through your wine sampling. Thank you Vicky for making my Mt. Hope wine visit fun and exciting...

My husband and I stopped here last Saturday for a wine tasting and a bottle before going out to dinner. The wines were alright. I can't say I loved any of the ones that I tried, but my husband found the selection of meads interesting. The main reason for the reduction in stars was the service. The lady that served us was incredibly rude. She didn't acknowledge us when we walked up to the tasting area, but rather just scowled at us. Finally, I asked if we could please do a tasting. She continued to just scowl until she rudely asked for our IDs, which we happily provided. She was rude throughout the tasting and made the experience rather unenjoyable. There are other wineries we love with staff that is friendly...

I'm a local and had no idea there was another location out on Lincoln Highway. Now that I know... Well, I see many more visits in my future. I tend to glaze over the touristy places, but I do love the Mount Hope ciders and meads, so not having to go all the way out to Manheim for a restock is great news. They have a great selection at this second location with much of the same merchandise as the "home" location. The sales person was very helpful! I'm just regretful that I didn't know...
