If a visitor asks me about my state, Pennsylvania and what’s something they should see or do here? I tell them Mt. Hope winery. Made right here in my home state of PA. For me it’s a staple of the local area and a must try. Their long line of wines, mead and cider will impress any critic. The wines invite you with their unique label designs and distinct aroma and flavor. A visit to Mt. Hope winery will delight you and your friends. Each location has a very welcoming atmosphere. I have visited the PA Ren Faire location for 10 years and their spot twice located next too Miller’s Smorgasbord. Anyone visiting would be lucky enough to meet Vicky who has helped me on two occasions. She has great charisma and is a pleasure to talk to and guide you through your wine sampling. Thank you Vicky for making my Mt. Hope wine visit fun and exciting...

There are other wineries we love with staff that is friendly...

I tend to glaze over the touristy places, but I do love the Mount Hope ciders and meads, so not having to go all the way out to Manheim for a restock is great news. They have a great selection at this second location with much of the same merchandise as the "home" location. The sales person was very helpful! I'm just regretful that I didn't know...
