I was directed to call Koch's by frigidaire customer service. They said they were authorized frigidaire techs. When I called and asked how much a service call would be the woman on the phone told me it would be $100 to come out since I bought my dishwasher from a "big box store" and not from them. I ask if I could have 5 min. of one of the techs time to ask 1 question about the error code flashing, and she told me they don't do that. I'm all about Mom and Pop shops, but when they make you feel inadequate for buying from someone else and can't give 5 min. worth of time over the phone, it makes me think they're all about making a buck. Not there for the community. I took apart my own dishwasher, found the code behind the panel and bought and installed the part myself. All this was under an hour from start to finish. It would have been nice if they read the code for me, because i wouldnt have had to take the whole front apart. Needless to say, the $100 plus part I needed, I bought from another Mom and Pop shop. I'll never do business with these people, and would never recommend them.
To the response of Koch: Reading a code for a customer that would've bought the part from you is good business. Advice is free. You can't sue someone over a phone call, so get over yourselves. Everyone: If you bought an appliance from a big box store, don't bother with Koch's. They admitted you aren't any kind of priority on their list because you didn't...
Read moreWas referred to Koch's for a washing machine repair-under manufacturer's warranty, by Maytag. Was repeatedly told by receptionist Rochelle, that Koch's sells and carries products directly and we should have purchased machine from them.Informed by Rochelle that existing customers receive priority scheduling for repairs, with warranty customers scheduled when an appointment becomes available.(Informed Maytag of this. Was advised by Maytag Koch's is NOT A CERTIFIED Maytag service provider). Asked to speak with Service manager- Kevin;was told he was busy unloading trucks. Asked for a direct telephone number; was advised I needed to go through call center. When product was finally scheduled for repair, after waiting over two weeks for parts,in addition to a 2-3 week repair appointment- product malfunctioned within 24 hours. Koch's receptionist told me to go elsewhere for repairs or call Maytag or Lowes directly. Rochelle told me my information was inaccurate and informed me I was being rude and HUNG UP THE PHONE on me. Would NOT purchase a product from this store and definitely NOT hire this company for repairs. Informed Maytag of Koch's: lack of customer service, inability to schedule customers in a reasonable period of time and incompetency with product repairs. Definitely would not recommend this...
Read moreMy wife first did a purchase of a washer and dryer from Best Buy. Well... that turned into a nightmare! They had a delivery date and the day came and we received a call from the Best Buy shipping department that they couldn’t make the delivery and told me that it would be another 2 weeks for the next available delivery! I then contacted their customer service and CEO. The customer service was horrendous and the CEO was just as bad! I mentioned to my wife to contact this local company and see if they could help us. Well... they not only were willing to help but they had my wife’s brand new washer and dryer delivered in 2 days. We not only received great customer service but a better price! Very professional and courteous customer service! Very happy with this company! Thank you so much for the outstanding customer service! Now I’m a supporter of small business!
