About 7 years ago I began my fitness journey. I found a gym and a program that really worked for me and as a result I lost 85 lbs. over 2 yrs. Eventually I plateaued. I tried personal training which kept me moving for a while but then the trainer I had worked with for 3 yrs left. I fell out of routine, stopped paying attention to what I ate, stopped exercising and gained back 40lbs. I tried several "challenges" and seemingly wasted hundreds of dollars over the course of 2 yrs. And NOTHING seemed to fit ... nothing stuck. Until I found Commit Fitness. I saw the 6 week challenge on Facebook and signed up. I went in to meet Barb and I knew this was my chance to reclaim my body and my life. Barb, Tony and Nicco are exactly who I needed to help me and the program is exactly what I needed to get myself back on track. The meal plan is sooooo easy to follow and the workouts are readily modified by the staff to meet individual needs. Not once have I felt embarrassed about my body or my level (or lack thereof) of fitness. The environment is inclusive welcoming and supportive. During the 6 week challenge I lost 18 lbs!!!!!!!    Read moreIn 2009 I had Gastric Bypass surgery n lost 82 lbs . 11 months before my one year weigh in , I had a car accident . After that I coulldnt hardy do much , no even work ! Then I had my neck surgery and I got worse ! I started eating , got very depressed , gained 30 lbs. and got very mad at everyone and everything ! I didn’t think I was ever going to do the things I did before . When I stared the 6 week challenge I couldnt get up from the floor without help or crawling to something to get up , plus theres always someone close by to help you out ! At first it was pretty embarrassing ! But the great thing about Commit fitness is that everyone’s nice and friendly ! Tony and Barb Pagourgis are great Coaches ....They take their time to help you do everything right, and always there to cheer you on ! I’m getting better everyday , and I can even get up by myself ! Yaaayyyy ! I lost 19 lbs on the 6 week challenge and I’m still there , cuz I want to get stronger. So if anyone is looking to live a healthy life lose weight , gain muscle and learn how to eat healthier for the rest of your lives ! Commit fitness is the place for you . Come join us !    Read moreIt's been an amazing 6 week journey!!! Decided to take the Commit Fitness of Leominster 6 week weight loss challenge because I needed to recommit to myself and my Twisted Sistahs Softball Team. This program consists of personal training sessions and a nutritional diet that is well planned out. I highly recommend food prep if you have never done that before. This is taught in the nutritional part of the program and something that I will continue to do in my everyday life.
Can't believe I lost 14 lbs and feel like a whole new person. I want to thank the owners Tony Pagourgis and Barbara Pagourgis for their guidance and knowledge. I consider myself an athlete but these 2 people really know their craft and have a great way of communicating. I highly recommend Commit Fitness to anyone looking to lose weight, get in shape and just feel great about yourself.
