Wow I loved this place! The best place to go if you want a feel of sea beach near the Dallas city Only half an hour a drive from the city. It charges $10 per vehicle for a day, however many people can be in the car. They do not charge per person which is a plus point. Also they have annual passes per car if you want to look into that. Good facility and clean place. The beach has pebbles and stones on the edge of the water so please bring slippers/Crocs if you don't want your feet hurt. There is sand for kids to play or build castles. Actually it's perfect for kids. Shallow water and kids can play jump do whatever, without parents having to worry about them of getting drowned. Also the people do get boats and racing boats and stuff there. So definitely a fun place for bachelors and young people. They do have benches and tables if you want to have a picnic. The gps does guide you to the golf place at first that is right by the sea but if you redirect it from there , it would take you to their entrance. Must visit place if you are looking for a one day trip with family or friends. Do remember they are generally crowded however the place being a huge one, crowd doesn't really bother you much.

If you like my review please drop a like. :) I am trying to level up here! My friends and I recently went to Lake Park to play disc golf for the first time since it had a good rating. As it turns out the park is pretty awsome. The park itself has soccer fields, baseball diamonds, a golf course, lots of lake side views, RV parking, a playground, a barge for fishing, and boat launches that I saw. It is all reasonably clean and people in the area seemed nice. As for the disc golf course itself, it was a blast. I wasnt very good at the game but I enjoyed it anyway. The area is reasonably clean and it does have a few porta-pots if you need them. (I didnt go in) I like the clear course markings and images to show you where your going next. There are even arrow markers to show you the direction of the next hole. That was helpful. The views of the wooded areas and lake were awsome to play through. The only advise I would give though is either plan to have wet shoes or plan to have to get in the water at some point. I had to fish a disc out 2x.... My fault not the courses. Overall, great experience and great fun. You should go enjoy this park.

We went for the Texas Pops Turns 50 concert, it was the Texas reunion of our own "Woodstock" concert , and the bands were amazing. First night's headliner was ZZ Top, Sunday's finale was Chicago. Great seeing the bands still going strong 50 years later. The venue's strong points were plenty of room for guests to spread out with own chairs and blankets. Sound and stage were truly wonderful. It was hot but this is Texas (it was hot 50 years ago), there were a couple of huge trees for shade. The food trucks were amazing, lots of them and not expensive. The weakest point was the parking, but the shuttles well thought out, except one VERY important part. I'm in a wheelchair and all but one wheelchair capable shuttle broke down. These were folks that came out from the original festival, and "young'uns" in their 50s and 60s, we grew up with these bands. Lost one star for poor planning. But for the Texas Pops Festival, I'd do it again.

👀🙈 THERE IS NO PLAY GROUND HERE AT ALL. Been to the other boat ramps here and I can tell you this. If your wanting to go where it isn't busy and easy to launch the boat this is the spot. They do have a swimming area with a beach with lots of river rock on it. There is a dock. Picnic Tables with Canopys and some with none. Can't say I saw grills there though. Alot of stuff blocked off and construction. This side of the Lake would not be my go to spot. Seems like they don't take care of it as well. Just my opinion Also when pulling up to the gate to enter There was a Lady at the booth she was " NOT FRIENDLY OR WELCOMING " At first when we pulled up with My Son driving just trying to ask where the play ground was , the lady was more concerned about me smoking my vape in the passenger. Saying you can't have vapes or smoke here at the lake in the park. Meanwhile my son kept trying to ask her about the playground that the site and google clearly says is there. She was very rude 😒 not cool at all. We had to leave to pick up someone at the soccer field. When we came back to the gate there was a Older Sweet Gentleman that was friendly and welcoming. This is just my 2 cents. Won't be returning too this side...

WARNING Please don’t underestimate how deep the water is at the buoys/floaty blockage. IT IS 8-10 FEET DEEP. We actually saved 3 people from drowning. They thought that area was walkable & the young girl started drowning & then the brother starting drowning by trying to save her. We heard “AYUDA!” (HELP!) and thankfully we had our floatie with us. My bf and I were lucky that another person came to push us to shore. It took 3 people to push them to shore. We are thankful to be alive! Please swim with caution!

  • AVISO!!!

NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: Please write warnings in english AND spanish. This area has a lot of hispanic people. I’m begging you to use the money you take from people to put more warnings or at least hand out spanish & english park...
