We had been here about 2 weeks prior to visit my mom in Richmond. At the time we had our dog with us so couldn't do the tour. We went back later and was too they don't do tours on Tuesdays. When they asked is where we were from we told them and the nice gentleman said he would go ahead and give us the tour anyway. Such a great tour guide and so knowledgeable!! It was really crazy to see all the bullet holes in the front of the house and to imagine what everyone went through that night. It does look like the home needs some maintenance to keep it going, and we suspect that at some point, it will likely be gone due to the dilapidation that is starting.
