Cold beer, location has history. It used to be a bank, 2nd place Jesse James ever robbed. Great food, friendly staff. The quality and flavors of their Mexican food is unmatched. This restaurant is not an old dated restaurant like so many others in these Midwest towns, yet this is the location of Jesse James second bank robbery...historic location in a historical town. This restaurant is delicious.

My only regret is I can’t give a higher rating. The people are the nicest human beings on earth. The food is amazing, prices are extremely reasonable, and the atmosphere is amazing. GET THE STREET CORN! Jesus himself would have had it on the table during the last dinner if he would’ve known. AMAZING RESTAURANT!

The food is exceptional, especially the lengua (beef tongue) that is slow cooked for 8-12 hours. My first time trying lengua this evening (4/9/2024), and had it in the "Gorditas" and I will be back for it again. And the flautas, quesadillas, tacos, chips and salsa/queso were simply.... Mmmmm, delicious as well.

Best Mexican restaurant within the 5 counties surrounding. No one compares. Best beef since it isn’t slimy and cooked within 5 min, best chicken since it isn’t like rubber, margaritas are always made perfect, the family that owns this place is amazing and what every Hispanic family should inspire to be inside America. I would give this restaurant a 10+. The ground beef and fried beans were seasoned to perfection 🥰. Since moving to this area I have tried several Mexican Restaurants but none comparable to El savor de. The service, atmosphere was top notched.
