Time Mission - Lincoln, RI / R1 Indoor Karting — Attraction in Lincoln

We saw this wonderful place in the Lincoln, RI and wanted to check it out. My fiance's sister bought me a 90-minute Time Mission gift card for my birthday (as I was talking about trying it a few weeks prior). My fiance and I had a date night here, and blast in these creative rooms figuring out the different brain and physical exercises. We didn't get to finish the rooms, and already can't wait to come back and beat our last score for the next time. It's great that there's a machine that tracks what rooms you went through, along with the much appreciated water break machine. We also loved the selfie room where a professional picture is taken for you to remember the event, how cool! We also love the arcade, as it is awesome and felt like two big kids. We enjoyed the the many different games old and new school that they had available. Basketball connect 4 was probably one of our top favorites along with skee ball, dancing, drop ball, claw machines, virtual games, and so many others. We also went to Dart City for the first time and loved it! Kyle and Gus were both very knowledgeable and friendly to my fiance and I. Gus helped my fiance with grabbing drinks from the bar. Kyle was great and showed us how to play the games, what to expect, and had a smooth experience. Kyle was very hospitable, and made sure we had a great time. After darts, we ended our night in the lounge area playing paddle ball, cornhole, giant checkers, and a game sliding discs. I had purchased a Groupon to experience Time Zone with my boyfriend. It had expired by the time I was trying to use it due to many scheduling complications and Covid. Groupon does allow you to use the paid value towards the experience, but the staff honored the original Groupon, which was a nice surprise. There are so many different rooms to choose from, and they cater to different people's skills. The décor is unbelievable, definitely more dressed up in detail than most escape rooms alone. The only thing is that we wished there was more of a story between the rooms themselves, like the traditional escape rooms. Since each room had it's own theme, you only had one chance to pass or fail immediately. You can retry a room, but it requires you to leave the room, and scan your bracelet to re-enter. That part made you feel rushed throughout the whole experience. Other than that, it was still fun, but once you experience/complete a room, it's over and done with. We are a family of 5, always in the need of Groupon Experiences to enjoy as a family. I happened upon a Groupon for R1 Karting and was pretty excited, because my kids have been bugging to drive the race cars ever since this place opened, but they are expensive and my youngest had been too small to drive them until recently. Well we didn't end up doing the karting, because the JR driving time had ended for that day, but we got to experience the TIME ZONE!! Let me tell you, NO ONE was disappointed!! The Time Zone experience is Soo fun and So unique, there's no way to describe it. Its like 20 escape rooms in one, there's so many different themes rooms, there's something for everyone! Some require puzzles to be solved while others are more physical. It was so much fun, even the 16 year old was laughing. Definitely worth it to get the 90 minutes....
