SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! This so called company is a SCAM!!!!!!!! Notice how she has a massive section on payment plan and policies. Its to protect herself in the case you make a credit card dispute against her. Credit card company always considers "compamy policies" and assumes youre aware of thèm and agree to them once you give your signature to a company or youve authorized a payment. Also, if you use paypal, they hold a policy that will NOT honor refunds on custom services/products if you do not receive them due to it being customized for you. She knows all the rules of the industry and will use them to fight her claim. She knows exactly how to steal your money and hold onto it. The key here is: shes not breaking the law, she's playing by industry rules and regulations (she knows them all too well) to steal people's money.
**UPDATE!!!!!! She took down the page with her payment policy plan after writing this review!!!! She doesnt want to give away any possible indications of her business being fraudulent, even though it is. Instead, shell make you fill out a form with your signature OR have you agree in writing (through your online WRITTEN communication or even informal discussion with her) and will provide it as evidence of your consent.
KEEPS CHANGING HER COMANY NAME DUE TO FRAUD!!!!!!! Check BBB...Better Business Bureau for complaints from people a of a similar nature or report your bad experience with them. Don't look at rating because BBB will credit the rating if the business owner is responsive. She talks in pages but its all lies. She keeps changing her company name due to fraudulent claims. Also used to work under the name of Brielity or Briel Delmonico (check BBB using this name). Used to have a fake shop on etsy called Brielity. No longer exists...the reasons are obvious.
FAKE, FAKE, FAKE!!!!!!! Any charity events she has posted, furniture listings, social media accounts and positive reviews are all FAKE! Now shes doing fake marketing videos on youtube (thats her new thing). It's all part of the scam to build a positive image and strong online presence to attract clients and fool credit card companies into believing she is legitimate. First thing credit company does is to research a company and policies and verify its existence. Notice how all her reviews are written similarly and all 100% positive? Its to deceive potential clients and credit card companies into believing she's doing her job appropriately. NOT!
HOW SHE SCAMS YOU: You inquire about furniture , she shows lots of direct and timely ommunication (to build a feeling of trust), she earns your trust and money, then avoids ever sending items or providing thr service. Will talk to you to only play around with your thoughts and feelings (mind games) and to stretch your time beyond credit card dispute deadlines.
THE TRICK-DEPOSITS ARE ALWAYS NON REFUNDABLE: the play on wedding services is easy to scam people with because you leave a deposit (she states 50% in her policy online WOW-big hint right there) or if you leave a signature very early on, by the time your wedding comes around or a piece of furniture is made (which it wont be), if a service or product isn't provided on the day of (which in this case it never will be), deposits are non refundable, you pass your credit card dispute deadlines, credit card companies abide by store policies and you lose your money. It's sooooo tricky.
Notice her reply to this feedback: "pursue legal action" these are the "legal" threats shell make to instill fear in you and make you believe she has the upper hand.

Read moreThe only regret that I have from my wedding day was booking Uniquely Chic Vintage. I am sharing my feedback in hopes that other brides will do their research and read all SEVENTEEN PAGES of their rental policies before booking because they will be aggressively enforced.
I went with them because I wanted candelabras as my centerpieces. They failed to provide necessary details (ie. candles not included, cleaning fees, they do not set-up most decor items) during our initial call or as part of the invoice. That information was only disclosed verbally a month before my wedding. A little additional guidance on their part would have been helpful.
The company policy does not allow you to remove rental items after 60 days. You must swap or exchange for something else. I suggest that in the future they have the courtesy to check in with brides prior to the 60 day cut off to finalize rentals. All of my other vendors sent me reminders and check in emails prior to their required due dates. I called the owner to see if we could come to some sort of compromise and she was very rude, condescending, and unprofessional.
Our wedding day fell on a rainy New England fall day (just like almost every weekend this year) and I was notified 3 days later while on my honeymoon that a lounge set was stained and had to be reupholstered and that they already tried to charge my card for damages. I was unable to see any proof of professional cleaning which apparently was done in house.
When my planner expressed issues with some of the items that were delivered, specifically that their candles didn't fit in their candelabras, they suggested that we invest in candlestick adhesive or tacky putty for the future. this note would have been helpful to know BEFORE my wedding, not...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about this company! I'm a professional wedding and Boudoir photographer, owner of Stacy Smith Studios. Briel and I have collaborated on quite a few styled sessions from a business marketing standpoint and she's provided many of my Brides with breathtaking decor for their weddings. She is insanely creative and offers great ideas and tons of choices when you're just not quite sure what you want! She is always professional, personable, on time and accommodating. Shes gone above and beyond at every event we've worked on. As a customer, I've also had Briel reupholster and revamp multiple pieces of furniture for me. She created a luxurious six foot tall gold mirror from scratch for my studio along with a blue velvet chaise fit for royalty, a purple velvet tufted loveseat, a really unique pink and gold curved chair and even brought an old shabby chic antique dresser back to life by giving it an extremely elegant makeover. When I'm looking for something in particular....she even finds it for me! She delivered every piece herself, bringing it up multiple stairways and down hallways to whatever space I requested. She also reupholstered a chair I inherited from my grandmother for my living room, which means so much to me! I could go on and on about the quality of her work but I highly suggest you see for yourself! You will never be disappointed when you hire Uniquely Chic to bring your decor ideas to life! One of a kind and worth every penny! I recommend her to everyone I know! Thank you Briel for all you've done for me, my Brides and my company. I look forward to working with you again and again...
