There is a pretty large play area, a really nice clean splash pool, bathrooms, and two pavilions. The splash pool has a top splash pad like area then it goes into a 1.5 feet max deep pool for kids. The splash pad area has a green bucket kids can pull a lever and dump water on themselves. There is a bronze lion which squirts water out of it's mouth. Lisbon did put out a notice on Facebook saying that kids should not be playing on the lion because if it breaks its expensive to fix. I understand why they want that but I also feel like they shouldn't have put something breakable and expensive in a public child pool. There is also a large yellow and red arch that sprays water. There are holes in the bottom where water shoots up but the water doesn't shoot very high. There is one cement table and 2 benches. I would reccomend bringing folding chairs to sit on also maybe bring an medium umbrella, there...
Read moreMy 2 yr old loves the splash pad/wading pool area as well as the playground equipment. She has a hard time deciding what to do and for how long. Back and Forth is the normal trip for us. It is swim/play at your own risk. Nearest emergency phone would be Caseys and they have a sign stating this on the chainlink door you have to enter through to get to the splash pad area. I'm guessing you could chance it and run across the street and use a phone at one of the residences which would be alot faster and closer than caseys, but if your taking a little one swimming or actually anywhere in general, you should have a phone on you anyways. There are outdoor showers to rinse yourself before and after playing. Restrooms are spacious, nice and were clean. Hopefully next year she will still be content with coming here. Its free so it would be cheaper than...

During my cookout, a lady stopped by to sit until her pizza was ready from the nearby Casey's. She was friendly and asked about myself, and then we continued to talk about the Lisbon/Mount Vernon area(I'm not from the area). Nice to meet local...
