We are fortunate to have a lovely and well kept space like Maple Island Park in the downtown area. It's a great place to convalesce and appreciate the natural beauty around us. It's particularly lovely at night when the lamps are lit up before the park closes. Take a stroll through next time you need to clear your head and take in your surroundings; I believe you'll find it therapeutic.

We walked to the other side of the river to the Linden Hill Estates. The kids enjoyed jumping on the rock bed along the river and watching the trains go over the bridge. The grounds are beautiful. You can tour and rent the mansion. We will be going back when it is open. Perfect dog friendly stroll before dinner ❤

I am up here from South Carolina. First time I've been to the park. And I had a wonderful time it has a beautiful Trail along the Mississippi River and I just happened to go when it was damn Festival time absolutely amazing I recommend it to anybody. Oh and don't forget to look...
