Best spot for getting in and out of the river. Walk upstream to the large concrete slab, and go tubing down the 3 water chutes! The first 2 chutes have 2 chutes, so pay attention. Be sure to put your back "facing forward", when going between the signal rocks (the two large rocks, which signal the deepest section of the river) so you don't flip your tube. Also, the chutes alternate from side to side of the river, so use your flip flops/sandals to paddle. We usually leave a couple cars at the Brent Mayne baseball fields where we will exit the water, deflate tubes and shuttle everyone back for another run or a beer at Breckinridge Brewery!
