Upper Falls — Attraction in Logan

We visited in early May 2024. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. This was the end of our hiking in Hocking Hills. We had already hiked all the major sites outside of the actual state park. We did not go down the easy hike Trail to the bottom of the upper Falls due to the fact that they were many College aged people and all we could smell was marijuana From the top of the trail. As I hate the smell of marijuana we opted out of going To the bottom of the Falls. It’s a shame that people find it acceptable to do that in public places. Don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against pot. I just don’t want it around me because it smell Death warn over. All in all it was beautiful and I wish we could’ve enjoyed it more, but it was the end of our trip and Why do people don’t? I wasn’t about to stand around and wait for some punk kids to finish smoking pot screwing around and...

This path is the beginning to Old Man's Cave and what a way to start this hike. It reminds me of Cedar Falls but The path getting here is easier. You start off by walking over a stone bridge that is directly above Upper Falls and walk the cliff around the to the stairs that go down to the beach. Most beautiful place in hocking hill state park. Lot of parking, easy to get to just follow devils footpaths 🦶. I visit with my 8 year old daughter,she enjoyed a lot . Easy hike. You can spend as much as you can. But you can complete this trail in 1 hr. Such a fun hike, even though it's one of the busier areas within Hocking...
