This is my favorite place to visit in Hocking Hills. It is not well trafficked, which I like a lot. Every time I have been here, it is very quiet and peaceful. There is a rough foot path around the lake. You can fish on the lake, but you cannot use any type of boat with a motor. There are no restrooms or water fountains. The trail around the lake is not wheelchair or stroller-friendly. The parking lot that I use is on the opposite side of the road (374) from the trail entrance that leads to the lake, and it is labeled with a small sign that says "fisherman's parking" (I think...I honestly haven't paid much attention to the sign). Parking at the campground is $3 and gets you closer, but the hill from that direction is a real PITA when it’s time to go back to the car.
