Usually my kids and I go to this park around 4-5 PM, one day we went around 12PM. There was one other adult and child there, the woman kept asking me detailed questions about my children, I let it go and tried to give general answers. A man walking a dog passed by twice, both times looking at my 2 and 1 year old. Within ten minutes later the parking lot started to fill with cars and no one stepped out of their cars. I was trying to make out if there were any children in the cars but couldn't tell. Soon enough the lady got on the phone and started walking to her car leaving the child she was with at the bottom of the park. Something didn't feel right, I went ahead and grabbed my children and we left and haven't been back since. All eyes were on us while backing out of the parking lot. Just wanted to write a review in hopes to remind you to always be safe and aware! My children love this park and if we do return I'll only make sure to go at a time when there are plenty of other adults and children.
Other than that my children enjoy the variety at this park and we've never had issues with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't know who's running the Hulda crook park website or who controls the phone number attached to the website but I downloaded a free app called the textnow app, which allows you to attach a free phone number to your phone so you can make phone calls, but apparently the number the TextNow app gave me is attached to the hulda Crook park website haha! When you look up the hulda crook Park on maps it's gives you my same text now app number as well, so all day people been calling me asking me questions about the park lolol... I didn't find out how they got my number until I talked to the 50th person that called me and he said my number was given to them by the hulda park website haha..So for any one that's trying to call the park it will be me answering, or some one else random because whoever is in charge of the Hulda creek park website is just handing out random numbers I guess! I still think it hilarious! Oh and I don't live anywhere near that park, i probably live 10 hours away at least! šš haha just so you can see I'm not lying here is a screen shot of my number on my text now...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHulda Crooks is my go to weekend mountain biking trail system. There are miles of mostly well maintained trails that cover a wide range of difficulty, with mostly fast flowy sections and occasional light technical areas. There are bathrooms near the trailhead, and it's very easy access to I-10, so it's easy to get there. There's usually plenty of parking in the main lot, but there are overflow spaces for when it's busy. For those with kids, there's a playground and ample grassy areas for running around. All in all a great park and a wonderful...
