I wanted to make people aware of the bad experience and lack of service that I received at the La De Da salon in Long Beach, CA last week on 11-11-2022. I was seen by Hairdresser Penny for a root touch that only last 3 days. The color came off and exposed my grays after my first hair wash (3 days after the root touch up). I called the salon and spoke to Natasha Jackson (owner) who offered me to fix it, however she had no appointment available. Then she suggested that I see the hairdresser, Jessica who I normal see, but Natasha was not aware of her schedule. I asked her to refund me for the lack of service. I expressed to her that I paid a lot of money for the root touch up that was not done correctly. She declined & made excuses for the hairdresser. Furthermore, she said that I should have expressed my concerns that day the “touch up” took place. I told Natasha that how would I know that they color would wash off? She said that Penny must have not added the correct amount to the mix. I am not a new customer and have had services in the past with Jessica and never had a problem. I was charged $69.00 for the root touch up, and I gave a 20% tip on top of that. I told Natasha that I would write a complaint, and this made her mad. She said that my complaint would affect her salon. She obviously did not demonstrate that she cares about her clients and the quality of the service they provide. Perhaps she only cares about money!! I am tired of businesses like this that take advantage of people and get away with it. As an owner she should have offer a refund seeing that the service that I paid for was not provided to me. To avoid any hair damage, I must now wait a few weeks and pay again to get this done at a new salon.
