I was excited to try this place out since lbfoodcoma (insta) rated their breakfast burrito as the #1 in Long Beach. Ordered the OG Burrito. Comes with bacon, fried eggs, tater tots, cheddar cheese, bacon jam, avocado, and their house salsa. I was a fan of the bacon jam and tater tots. Nice twist. Their salsa wasn't spicy at all, which may be a positive thing for some people. Personally, the salsa left a lot to be desired. Was it a good breakfast burrito? Absolutely! I will probably be back and will try it again. Is it the best bfast burrito in Long Beach? Probably not, IMO. I think there are better breakfast burritos around town. Especially at $18.50, I think you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. I ordered a cappuccino in addition to the burrito and it took them a long time to bring it. It arrived 5 minutes after I got my burrito, so I have a feeling they forgot about it. My server was apologetic, which I appreciated. However, it was already cold by the time I got it. Had somewhere to be, otherwise I would have said something. Overall, worth a visit.

I went to Coffee Parlor recently for brunch. The parking lot is a bit strange, it may seem like there's no spaces but follow the narrow road behind the building and there are more spots on the other side. There are a few tables inside, but it's a bit cramped. Outside though there are plenty of picnics tables set up. I got a chai latte, original burrito, and a chocolate chip cookie. The burrito and salsa were amazing, one of the best I've ever had. The cookie and chai were just okay; the cookie was really crispy, which isn't my preferred kind of cookie. My chai had large clumps in it, like it wasn't completely mixed and the chai blend settled to the bottom. So I wouldn't recommend either of those, but definitely try the breakfast burrito.

Food: plenty of drinks and baked goods to choose from! I ordered the sea salt caramel latte and it was delicious. The sourdough is baked fresh and when you bite into it, it really does taste like that homemade feel that we are all looking for in food. Service: I told the clerk it was my first time and she explained some of her favorite drinks and asked me what I liked. She also explained how they bake their own goods in house. Final thought: the parking is horrible, so be prepared to find a spot. Small business with yummy delights. I'll be back!

Coffee Parlor holds a special place in my heart, as I've been a loyal patron since they first opened their doors. Over the years, I've witnessed their impressive growth and expansion, which is a testament to their commitment to excellence. Despite now residing far away, I make it a point to stop by whenever I find myself passing through the area.

One aspect that sets Coffee Parlor apart is the exceptional quality of their food. With each visit, I am consistently blown away by the remarkable flavors and innovative combinations on their menu. As a self-proclaimed coffee aficionado, I hold high standards when it comes to my cup of joe, and Coffee Parlor never disappoints. The rich aroma, perfectly balanced taste, and skilled craftsmanship behind each cup is truly commendable.

Recently, I discovered a new favorite on their menu—the Blueberry Matcha Iced drink. This refreshing concoction, with its delightful blend of earthy matcha and the sweetness of blueberries, has become my go-to choice. It's a delightful and unique twist on traditional beverages, showcasing their ability to innovate and surprise their customers.

Now, let's talk about the prices. Admittedly, the menu at Coffee Parlor leans towards the higher end, but the moment you take your first sip or savor a bite of their delectable dishes, you understand why. The ingredients they use are of top-notch quality, sourced with care to ensure the best possible flavors. Each item on the menu is meticulously crafted, displaying the chef's passion for their craft and a dedication to providing a memorable culinary experience.

However, one thing to keep in mind is the seating arrangement. The café primarily offers stools for seating, which, I must admit, can be a tad uncomfortable for longer stays. Personally, I find that after about 30 minutes, my back starts to protest. Nonetheless, Coffee Parlor has made the best use of the available space, adapting and experimenting with various seating styles to accommodate a larger number of customers. Despite this minor inconvenience, the ambiance remains warm and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy your coffee and meal.

I must commend the coffee parlor on their consistent and impeccable service. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. It's evident that they genuinely care about providing a positive customer experience, which further enhances the overall visit.

Lastly, I feel compelled to mention the owner. When Coffee Parlor first opened, I had the good fortune of meeting the owner, and I can confidently say that they are a genuinely great person. Their passion for their business is evident in every aspect of the café, from the quality of the food and drinks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. As long as the current owner remains at the helm, I will continue to be a loyal customer, supporting their passion and dedication.

Coffee Parlor is a coffee shop that has continuously impressed me with its growth, exceptional food, and top-notch coffee. Despite the minor discomfort of the seating arrangement, the overall experience is nothing short of delightful. With a passionate owner and a team dedicated to providing outstanding service, I eagerly look forward to my future visits to Coffee Parlor, knowing that I will be treated to a truly enjoyable and...

First time here and everything was absolutely amazing. The orange mocha seasonal latte was festive and delicious. It was hard to choose what to eat, everything sounded so good! But I went with the breakfast sandwich + biscuit option. Those biscuits alone are worth coming back for. Crispy, buttery edges with fluffy center. Perfection. My only issue was that my clean reusable personal coffee cup was not allowed due to their policy of no personal cups behind the counter. There are also no “for here” options for coffee cups. Totally understandable to have a policy in place, but I’ve been to several places that have a great work around by either placing my cup in a larger vessel so there is no contact, or I can place my cup, lid off, at the end of the coffee bar so they can fill it without contact. Just trying to reduce waste by bringing my own cup and I love when coffee shops support this mission. I love coffee, and supporting local coffee shops, and I’m extra motivated to return to places that allow clean reusable cups. I’ll definitely be back for those breakfast...
