I loved the swimming area within the park. We went with a friend with 8 kids in total. The kids had lots of fun. There are slides and other things in the water for older kids that can actually swim. For younger ones they seperated and it starts as shallow going upto 4ft. They also have guards which is awesome. They have picnic tables, restrooms ( which needs an upgrade and cleaning), and a shower. On the other side they had grills and an actual playground. The kids didn't want to leave the swimming area so no experience with that part. I loved it overall. Just the water had some dirt and couple fishes bit me although the kids didn't even realize. Read moreThey charge you $5 for a day pass and then they kicked you out because I “wasn’t a member” but I feel like It was racially motivated because the 3 first lifeguards who let me in didn’t say anything about having to live in the area to swim here…. They don’t want black people in their neighborhood and that’s all that was… It was very embarrassing and humiliating that they let me in there just to kick me out in front of the whole community. I’m very disgusted and disappointed because It actually looked like a nice peaceful place… DO NOT COME...

Definitely some algae floating around and the fish may nibble on you, but it's apparently sourced by well water and rather clean with no slimy feeling or smell. Kids had an amazing time, especially because they could bring floaties and there's a free playground with picnic area next to the paid beach area. Also appreciated they had a life...
