Dr. Heivi has pulled-off an awesome project with Amor Dentistry. My two children (Isabella 3 and Samuel 4) have been seen by her twice and their first experience (even when implying dental procedures with needles and sedative), was so nice that even 6 months later they still had good memories and walked in for their check-up smiley and cheerful. Dr. Heivi also has an awesome crew to help her perform within the several preciously decorated rooms! Luis does an awesome job at assisting patients, calling to inform of appointments, and taking "super-star" pictures of the teeth upon arrival. And Cynthia is a lovely, bilingual, and perfect "co-pilot" following the doctor's mood of making every procedure an adventure that captivates the imagination of children and invites them to fully cooperate, joining-in all the accomplishments. These usually have a successful ending, completing the visit with a gift and balloon that will leave families to look forward to our next landing at the dentist office in another 6 months. If the patient arrives with enough time to process the paperwork, appointments are wonderfully punctual. I have not seen lines nor sad faces in the waiting room where restrooms are clean and spacious, and the children programs distract any short-minute wait. Luis also offers guests something to drink if by any reason there is a wait, and what is most convenient, MediCal is accepted! Today, I took my kiddos for a recall appointment, and wow, what a rollercoaster of emotions! I was shocked by how one particular assistant was treated—there was this palpable negativity in the air. I couldn’t believe my eyes as I witnessed the rudeness from some of the staff! One assistant, whom I believe was named Angela, really stood out for all the wrong reasons. She rolled her eyes and even muttered about her colleagues—I just can't wrap my head around why some people act that way! Not only blaming her but two other assistants I couldn’t catch their names but mean girls is their perfect definition.

Despite the heavy atmosphere, there was a bright spot amidst the gloom: Stephanie! She was absolutely fantastic. Her explanations about the treatment were clear and thorough, which I really appreciated. Not only that, but her positive attitude and sense of humor lifted my spirits. I couldn’t be happier with Amor Kids Dentistry. I’m glad I found them. The dentist Dr. Haivi Kim and her staff make a great team. Even though my 4 yr. old was been difficult I admire how patient they were. Navi the assistant was great at calming my son and engaging him into a conversation so that he wouldn’t focus on the procedure been done. She is amazing! Mireya always prepare and looking after her little patient and communicating with me the parent to see if I had any concerns or If I needed anything. (I hope I got the names right) As you walked in you feel welcomed and acknowledge. While waiting to be seen they play movies for them (but to be honest there is really not much waiting to do especially if you go in the mornings).In room TVS helps them relax and ease their anxiety over their fear of the dentist.
