If you are a hiker and need a place to rest before continuing on you journey to the Hollywood sign, this is the spot. It has plenty of shade, water and trash cans to keep the park clean. If you are coming up from the south, it's not that far at all. If you are coming from the north, it's quite a trek and the remaining hike down Hogs Back Trail is slick and steep... Be careful. If this place was accessible at night, it would be a beautiful place to listen to whoever's playing at the Greek with your significant other. Quite romantic.
