The Last time I went was years ago, and I just want to say that this place has a lot of history behind it and if you want to know more about the history of Wilmington Ca. and know more about Phineas Banning and all this indeed is the place to come to for a plenty of history about Wilmington as well as the Drum Barracks Museum. It is really a neat museum as well as you can really learn a lot about this place and how Wilmington was founded and about this wonderful Museum. Very interesting place i highly recommend it because it is the last civil war post in CA, but the guide we had was really condescending to my 9 year old that didn't know much about the civil war yet and she was OCD about making us move in a certain direction through the tour, and not touching anything at all except for the stair banister.
