Read moreI've been coming to Harbor Gateway Transit Center for a year, almost two years. I feel the need to write a review about the safety concern I have here. Since Silver Line (24-hour service) operates here, it takes me to my university. However, usually I arrive in the morning and I already start to notice random homeless and mentally-ill individuals show up with a cigar in their hand. There are no security guards to monitor the area, especially when I see mostly female commuters here. I've witnessed cases of them releasing f-bombs and dropping substances in the ground, which is not okay in the presence of kids and youngsters. The Ambassadors that monitor different buses also have duties of reporting the sustainability of buses and bus stops, which I don't see at all. Metro needs a restart and I really mean it, these have been getting out of hand and they need to address these, especially the benches. Sitting on the stones are not acceptable when having to deal with long waiting...
Read moreI go here regularly after and to work. I give it 3 because it is recently updated, nice bathroom. But, they need more lights so feels safer at night (they do have security there at all hours) on the side nearest to the road and they need to correct the issue with making the buses easier to know and find which bus is yours. You wouldn't believe how many people miss their bus because of how many and confusing the signs are.
Tip: make sure you get there with enough time to search and figure the stop out. Look for your number and the final stop it is makes this...
