It's a very well kept boardwalk along the marsh with great views of Lake Pontchartrain and the causeway bridge. The boardwalk also has several places to stop along the way to sit if you wish and signage about flora and fauna plus how the marsh came to be and facts about the Lake and causeway, too. It's a very nice walk. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

I really enjoyed walking on this Pier. I didn't even know it was there, We ran into it by mistake. It looks brand new and the view was pretty awesome. We even saw an alligator eating on some kind of large fish by the edge of the water. If you are able to find this broadwalk I recommend you check it out.

It's a very well kept boardwalk along the marsh with great views of Lake Pontchartrain and the causeway bridge. The boardwalk also has several places to stop along the way to sit if you wish and signage about flora and fauna plus how the marsh came to be and facts about the Lake and causeway, too. It's a very nice walk. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

I really enjoyed walking on this Pier. I didn't even know it was there, We ran into it by mistake. It looks brand new and the view was pretty awesome. We even saw an alligator eating on some kind of large fish by the edge of the water. If you are able to find this broadwalk I recommend you check it out.

What a nice little adventure hidden away in bucktown. It seems that few people know about this place yet. A short boardwalk across the marsh reveals different wildlife each season. We have seen birds, turtles, fish, snakes, alligators, crabs and various insects. There's a self-serve kayak rental with a very convenient launch. You can go out into open water if you want, but it is advised to stay behind the series of breakwaters that stretch all the way...
