HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE! first of all, I went to one store in my town looking for specific amiibo cards that sometimes hard to find. The first store was super nice, super knowledgeable, and recommended that I head to the other Game's Ahoy across town. He knows they have exactly what I'm looking for. I don't usually just take sometimes word like that, but I have been in this spot before with the employees from here. They really do know what I'm looking for! I went right over to the other store, and by george, they had the amiibo's! Not only did they have a pack, but they had 4 series of these packs! Here is where I need to give extra kudos to RJ the employee at the 65th site in loveland. He took extra time, for me, a new gamer, to show me other games that would be similar to what I was playing. Wrote down the ones he didn't have in the store. It was really an epic experience! Thank you Game's Ahoy for having great employees

DONT BUY ETBS FROM THIS VENDOR. As stated it’s statistically improbable for an etb of scarlet to come with only two pulls cards. Now let me tell you when I got two boxes with the exact same outcome with one gold star and one two star per box I knew it was off. Clearly these boxes were tampered with. When I called and asked if there was anything that could be done to rectify they said they couldn’t do anything and that “we buy from thepokecenter.” They do not buy from pokecenter and if they do then it’s them stepping on the cards directly after. Don’t recommend this place to anyone. I work hard for my money as I’m sure we all do, and I for one will not be spending another dime at this “establishment”. Hopefully this reaches you before you get scammed too!

I wish I could rate these guys a 6, they are fair with their trade ins and prices, every console I have bought has worked and still do. They sell games as old as Atari and up. All of the employees at both stores are awesome and knowledgeable too. I go here every pay check. I do kind of miss the point system but the buy 3 10.00 or under get one free is not bad either, lots of good titles for that price.

While I actually think that this store is the BEST retro store I think I've ever been to. Sadly, I think it's the worst customer service I've ever had shopping my entire life. Went in to get a disc clean. Not a big deal when one of the staff mentioned it would be a minute. Since it was my first time. Thought I'd walk around to see what the store had to offer. (I just moved here from Colorado Springs.) After I was done and saw it was less busy. I went over to see about getting my disc clean. They told me how the disc cleaning would go. Mentioned it may not work even after. That part was fine. It wasn't working anyway. What REALLY bothered me. Was when I was complimenting the staff on how the store handled games with extreme care or told them that I thought it was probably the best retro store I've ever been to. They flat out ignored me. Wouldn't even acknowledge it AT ALL. As if I had done something wrong my FIRST time in the establishment. Completely monotone. Didn't even wish me a good Memorial Day weekend. Coming from a Military family. That was pretty awful. Terrible in everyway. Not only do I think that's bad customer service. I don't feel comfortable coming back. Not sure if a lot of others have had a similar experience, but I felt highly judged when they wouldn't even respond to me about simple things I was saying. I'm bummed to say the least because I genuinely would like to go back, but not if I'm treated like I'm stupid for having said the store was great in the first place.

As a first time shopper of this store. Not a great first impression. Where that should be the...

Great Store, like a window into the past. I've traveled across the country on work and, there is nothing like Games Ahoy in this area. Fantastic Fun, and Friendly.

Hello! My name is Kevin Anderson and I just wanted to recognize all the Games Ahoy staff I have dealt with for their amazing service and professionalism. If I had a better memory and more time I would thank them all by name, but I can barely remember where I left my keys this morning so most of the names are escaping me currently; but everyone I have dealt with has been knowledgeable and fantastic to do business with.

I always get fantastic service at your stores but I wanted to especially thank the two gentlemen that helped me on 1/20/16 with my Retron 5. First the gentleman working the location near Walmart at about 10:20am, was super helpful with a complex issue I had with some hardware. He was able to contact GM Andy right away and had a solution for me in mere minutes. I was very impressed but forgot the gentleman's name unfortunately. Later Andy helped me out in person (an item was out of stock at the other store) and again exceeded my expectations by taking the time to test out the replacement component. As it turned out the first replacement did have a defect and by testing it first Andy ensured that the component I needed was in working order; saving me a trip.

Today was just another great example of the fantastic service Games Ahoy and their staff commits themselves to. I can buy games a lot of places; I chose to buy at Games Ahoy because of the amazing people...

Probably my least favorite games ahoy. People here in particular don't know what they're talking about, and are rude as well. Dude that's usually here says 'how can I help you' as you walk in the door. Strange thing to say as half of my body is still outside, how about a simple 'Hello'. Another guy tried saying a Wii sensor bar is 'getting hard to find'. Like, you realize the Wii is top 5 of all time best selling home consoles right? We're not talking about a jaguar CD (doubt he'd know what that is).

Can we talk about how Games Ahoy has a policy that if you buy something BRAND NEW from them and don't end up needing it, they straight up won't take it back? What policy is that? Who in 2023 has a policy that buying something brand new means you can't return it (literally tried it after buying it the same day).

Imagine buying a new toaster, and then you find your old one and want to return it the same day and a store is like "Yeah, we can't do that". I understand opening a video games is one of thing, but a $10 3rd party memory card you can't return?

I want to point out that I love games ahoy, I've been coming for at least 10 years, but the policy and this store in particular are both things that I desire more from. It's great that you're selling retro stuff, and I love watching the success of the other Loveland store and Fort Collins store. However, let's get a little more customer focused with returns (ease up a bit) and don't try to act like an expert if you actually don't know what you're...
