Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Loveland

We have had issue after issue with this location. The first issue we had was incorrect spelling on the cake. What was supposed to say “David” said “Dabib” we brushed that off and joked about it. The second issue was they had left the paper underneath the edible image so when we went to cut the cake the entire image came up with the knife. I called about that and they said they would send a 50% off cake card. We went to redeem it yet still paid over $45 so I thought to myself they must not have applied the 50% off but again said whatever we just won’t order from them again. A few months passed by and Dairy Queen reached out TO ME to apologize because they realized their mistake and wanted to fix it so this time they wanted to send a FREE cake card. Life got busy and we haven’t had time place orders for ice cream cakes as often as we’d like. I was in a hurry trying to find the free cake card in a 10 minute time frame and could not find it so my mom called and they told us to just come into the store. I showed up and they claim that I used the free cake card and that they specifically remembered me doing so which I knew for certain I did not. So once again we paid for the cake. I just got home from the birthday celebration and took the extra time to look for the card because I knew I wasn’t crazy. So sure enough I came across the card that this location sent me and then claimed that I had already redeemed. Will not be going back to this location for any reason. I am happy to make the drive to Fort Collins from here on out if it means avoiding these messes made by the employees...

Update:

I went back and a staff member made a new pretzel that came out perfect and she put some Sierra Mist in a cup so I could verify it wasn't just carbonated water.

Great, friendly staff. The people were very nice and they probably make some great desserts. I hit the drive thru for a quick meal having just learned that they make chili dogs.

This location does not make fries so I got a soft pretzel just to have something on the side.

The chili dog turned out to be mediocre, but hard to eat without a fork since that were generous with the chili.

The pretzel was inedible as it smelled and tasted very strongly of burned metal. That's the only way I can describe it. As if the pretzel was cooked in the heat of an electrical fire.

I thought, okay, I can eat most of the chili dog, and I was very glad that they have Sierra Mist which is the only fast food soda that doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup. Yay!

But then...ugh! It was only carbonated water.

I guess I ordered the three least ordered items on the menu. They should probably make this location dessert items only if my experience was not an anomaly.

There was a long line and a long wait to place my order, so people clearly like this place. I'm just guessing that they were all ordering frozen tests.

My parents and I went to get a treat after dinner on Friday night (9/5) with my two toddlers, around 9ish and everything was going great, until it wasn’t. They were extremely busy but when our visit took a turn was when one of the employees yelled at one of the door dashers in-front of EVERYONE. She was upset because the driver had marked they had been waiting for 17 mins and the order had been ready and that makes them look bad and to not do that again!!! It was so sad because the driver literally looked like he was about to cry and he told her he was sorry and he didn’t speak really good English. That was COMPLETELY uncalled for and so upsetting to see someone being treated like that. It could’ve easily been a mistake or even their first ever door dash order! I will not be going back to this location due to this terrible treatment to the poor door dash driver! All of the other staff members even seemed uncomfortable when she did that… she is definitely some sort of manager by the way she was on a power trip.
