I can't believe it!! I put down my deposit on March 29th for the Nintenco Switch OLED Model The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition console to make sure I could get one for my son's birthday. The consoles came in at the end of April and NO ONE from Gamestop notified me they were in, not even an automated email or text although they have all my information as I am (WAS!) a PRO customer with an active PRO card. In fact, the store clerk talked me in to renewing my PRO card so I could get discounts when I picked up the console. Then 48 hours later THEY SOLD MY CONSOLE to someone else. Hey Gamestop, here's a thought, maybe before you sell a good customer's reserved and paid for game console, YOU MIGHT WANT TO NOTIFY THEM IT ARRIVED AND COULD BE PICKED UP!! No wonder the market thinks Gamestop is going out of business. I ended up buying it through Best Buy, which is where I will buy all my gaming products...
Read moreI went in to buy Persona 5 Royal steelbook for switch, and they advertised that they had it. when we got to the register, they almost forgot to give me the game and I almost left with the store display. I told them I needed the game and they tried to give me the regular copy of the game, but I paid for the steel book, it said that on the receipt. The employee seemed to not know where anything was, and asked another employee to help look for it. She looked in each drawer and said she knew they had it, but didn't know if they sold it or not. They should have taken that display off the shelf and put another one up that doesn't say steel book. It's bad business practice to advertise something...
Read moreI am so mad at these people I paid for a pickup order because I worked all day and I just wanted something easy to go in get it go home well I place the order which is $255 I get there the employee is playing on his phone has no interest in my order he said to me yea I canceled it and proceeded to pull it off the shelf and check it out for me? So my ordered was canceled because your employee doesn't want to do anything but play on his phone behind the counter so I basically paid $510 in 1 day?
