Black River Farms, Inc — Attraction in Lower Saucon Township

Nice setting - no doubt ...... and yes there is a "food truck", however it's pretty much the same food truck every weekend. If your not a fan of the food (which we weren't), we personally found everything to be far too greasy for us, your out of luck, or should eat ahead of time. Music was music, by a small ensemble, and that's left up to personal taste. I doubt the ensemble that played is a major reason people come there, but it certainly isn't a deterrent either ..... again, personal choice, and they did have a few renditions that were nice. Now for the beverages ..... Lot's of sugars !!!!!!! lot's of various offerings as well, but ...... lot's of sugars !!!!!!!! and here's the beware part ... The offerings for sale (of which there are many) are somewhat competitive in price (a bottle of flavored vodka for $21.99 for example) until you find out that your only getting a 375ml bottle not the regular 750ml bottle sold in state stores. That means your getting LESS THAN HALF for substantially more than you'll pay elsewhere. Oh yeah, you might not find that out until you get home because they certainly seem to try and hide that fact, as they deliver your purchase to your table in a very nice cloth tote, showing simply the "tops" of your purchases ........ How do you spell ...........bamboozeled...

So first time at this venue . Let me start by saying - hospitality at black river farms is second to none and I mean none !!!! Wife and I were looking for something different to do with our Great Dane hella we stumbled upon this winery and I am sooo glad we did !! From the minute we walked on to their property they treated us like family. Was a warm day so they said bring the dog inside - everyone greeted us and hella like we knew them forever - was such a friendly atmosphere and almost everyone there came up to pet and greet hella !! Even the owners !! They brought us a dog bowl and water for her and anything else we needed or wanted !!!! The wine is amazing the food is great and the band was on point - the people working there were smiling and pleasant to interact with !! So if you want the ultimate experience go see these folks you won’t be...

We held my mom's 90th birthday party at BRF last weekend and I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. Everything was easy, the staff were LOVELY and helpful, above and beyond for sure. We used feast. catering, which I also give a 5 star review. They do a lot of events at BRF and the food was great. Service was excellent, and Yvonne was really helpful in getting us to harness our needs (we were going to order WAY too much food, lol). If you have an event, this is the place to hold it. The grounds are beautiful, the people are lovely and the vibe is great. They were fantastic with kids running around a bit, even though we were hostage inside the barn with the remnants of hurricane Ian blowing through. I wish we had been able to use the outside space, it's really beautiful. Thanks for everything folks, it was a great evening! (and the wine...
