No. 1 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Lower Saucon Township

We have been looking for good Chinese food since moving here in 2017. Finally! We found it. Our go-to dishes are sweet and sour chicken, and orange chicken. We were not sure at first what size of the sweet and sour to get as it had a “large” option. We got the large since we wanted to be sure it was enough — it lasted for three meals and then some! The chicken was done perfectly, no greasy flavor or mouthfeel like you sometimes get at other places, and thankfully they don’t skimp on the sauce. The orange chicken was PERFECT. Nice and saucy to coat the rice when you mix it all together. Didn’t taste artificial either. The right balance of sweet, citrus, and a little heat. And the broccoli was nice and fresh, not over cooked at all. We’ve truly been looking for good orange chicken for years since moving here. So glad we tried this place! We live across the street from a Chinese restaurant, but we still go out of our way for this place! Oh, and the portions for the orange chicken was also very generous! We had meals for days! Only thing to note: specify if you want fried rice with the orange chicken, as ours came with white rice. And egg rolls are extra, but honestly it made sense since the meal portions...

Ordered on grubhub, specifically sweet and sour chicken, because that is all one member of my family will eat with plain rice. They forgot the sauce, making it inedible. Called to have them bring us the sauce, person was extremely rude on the phone. Kept offering to refund the chicken, we did not want a refund we wanted the food we ordered. Asked for manager, he kept saying there is no manager to speak to, asked him when they would be in and he kept saying he does not know. What kind of place doesn't know when someone in charge will be there? Extremely dissatisfied. Going to have to call again tomorrow to try and speak to someone else. Don't waste your time...

Been coming here for ages. A very decent americanized Chinese restaurant. Although I feel like the quality has slipped a little recently. Very disappointing that they still have not reopened the inside for sit down dining. Getting food through that hole in the door is very odd. I good thing from this visit, the Chicken Mei Fun with Curry Sauce, which I have ordered many times was actually truly spicy 🔥 this time.
