I will be glad to share my experience with The Temple theater. Until today I supported and sponsored them. Then I tried to by tickets to a Jackie Evancho concert on February 1, 2019. Went online to buy, found out the entire Orchestra section and actually most of the theater seats have been blocked for sale. Tried to call the box office during business hours, nobody home. The obvious is that the Theater has changed policy and sold out the seating to 3rd party ticket vendors. ( No possible way 700+ season patrons would commit to a concert 6 months away) Whatever the reason, The Temple theater has lost my monetary sponsorship. I don't deal with any venue like this that manipulates theater patrons and longtime supporters who have actually kept the theater open, or places them behind in importance to outside contractors. I went and seen the performance of the Magic School Bus on the 3rd of this month with my niece's school around , which was absolutely splendid, it was an amazing performance. Unfortunately the entire time I was thinking about the exchange I had with the young lady who was running the ticket booth. Her manners were lacking, she was very visibly and verbally impatient during our interaction, I have social anxiety and was trying to be as polite and pleasant as I could but stumbled over my words. However, the way she talked to the two elderly people who were escorting people up the stairs (which was a struggle) was awful, but they didnt complain not once, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth... Read moreWe had the best time. We saw Blue Man Group. There were lots of volunteers to help direct people to their seats, answer questions and anything else that might come up. There were problems scanning tickets which caused a delay, but we had plenty of time to get to our seats as did everyone else effected. I like that the seats are comfortable and you have clear view of the stage. The rows are wide enough that you can stretch your legs out a bit. Rows are clearly marked do you can find your seat.
