The carillon player was great. He gave a 50 minute concert, then very generously took questions and lectured in the lower level which houses the practice console, which is just like the main one, except the notes are a xylophone instead of huge bells. A $5 contribution gets you access to the upper level (108 steps) where he lectures more and even lets you play a few notes to sound the actual...

We stopped here to let the kids out to run around. They had a lot of fun pretending there was a princess in the castle that needed to be saved. Beautiful little place but I wish there was a trashcan around. A lot of litterbugs had visited before us ;) do your part to keep naturally beautiful...

We just DJ'd a ceremony yesterday at Luray Singing Tower and it was so beautiful! Spring had sprung around the lake and there are benches already there for the guests. It was beautiful and simple - if you plan to have music or a DJ they must bring a generator! Definitely a good spot for...

It was beautiful and simple - if you plan to have music or a DJ they must bring a generator! Definitely a good spot for family photos :)

The carrillon tower is fantastic, though I wonder when it's played. The pond makes a picturesque backdrop. Bring your fishing pole, there were a couple of people fishing. I'm not sure what the catch was like. They also have picnic tables.
