It's beautiful and when they have their seasonal events it's beautiful, friendly, and full of fun. It just you can tell now economy has taken it's place at the mountain. It use to be you payed to park and other then making purchases it was free to do things (except pony rides). It was $2.00 up 5.00 for each child. That's costly if you have more than one child. Read moreThe Apple Festival and the Fourth of July are traditions in our family to be at Graves Mountain. Yes, it's well attended but there is plenty of space for everyone. Apples and pumpkins and good food all for purchase. Music to be enjoyed at both events, there are picnic tables but bring your chairs to be sure of a seat. Bring your picnics if you'd rather. We did not see many people eating; however, enjoyed watching the cloggers and looking at the hand-made decorations.
