Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre — Attraction in Lynchburg

Great in theory, pretty fun, amazing deal on Tuesday. However, the college kids that work there really need to be trained better and take their job more seriously. Nobody offers any type of help/advice on how the rental gear works or anything like that. I’d imagine lots of people are newbies - unlike the group of college kids hanging out at the beginners slopes at the entrance.

My family wanted to ride the higher slide on the tubes and both times we tried, we were told they were doing a shift rotation so we would have to wait 5 mins. We did the smaller slide a few more times to wait but they still weren’t there so we decided to come back later after skiing. We went back to the slides 20 minutes before our 2 hours was up & was told the same thing by the lady who opened the window with her shoe as she was propped back on the chair; the bigger slide was closed for shift rotation. We went down the small slide twice while waiting. Eventually, the same employee who was down at the beginner slopes came up to the slide area. Once he got to the girl at the first desk, he asked her to check our entry cards for the time stamp (which she never did the last 4 times we passed her). I assume he told her to check because he simply just did not want to go to his assigned position and deal with us going down the slide. Our two hours was up literally on the dot right as she asked. We explained we have been waiting for someone to come for over 10 minutes (this second time) and allow us on the second bigger slide because we planned to do that and then leave. They almost didn’t let us go on but then said “yeah sure go ahead and do that then your time is up.” We get up to the top of the slide and the employee is having a personal conversation on the phone - apologizing to whom they’re speaking with saying “sorry, I’m working tubes tonight.” Almost all of the employees there were extremely unprofessional.

Additionally, we had someone in our group who planned to sit in the lodge upstairs and watch us as she is not able bodied to participate, but unfortunately it was rented out by a private party and we could not access it. With there being no good place to sit downstairs, she sat outside in the cold. Not even to mention that the doors to get to the elevator from upstairs were locked; a hell of a lawsuit waiting to happen as she had to take the...

A Thrilling Experience at Liberty Mountain Snowflex Center!

I recently visited the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Center, and I was blown away by the excitement and adventure that this place offers!

As a beginner, I was a bit apprehensive about trying out the Snowflex slopes, but the friendly and knowledgeable staff quickly put me at ease. They provided excellent instruction and guidance, helping me to get started and build my confidence.

The Snowflex surface was surprisingly realistic, mimicking the feel of snow and allowing me to practice my skiing and snowboarding skills in a safe and controlled environment.

I was also impressed by the variety of slopes and features available, including the beginner-friendly gentle slopes, the more challenging steep slopes, and the thrilling jumps and rails.
